  1. Are you kidding the 60's remains the best decade for music period the peak of Motown-Marvin Gaye, The Jacksons, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, the Beatles,The Who, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash-the entire foundation of current music and beyond derives from this period. POOR POLL
  2. Buzzjack never changes I sometimes wonder if most posters are 14 and under.Good read though

  4. Thanks its great to see so many UK acts in the Top 100 for a change. We have to endure any American pap.Where is Charice and Before it Explodes?

Sadly Beyonces comeback single is better than both of Gagas and Britneys but that is not saying much as it is not great.I still want her to get to No 1 though if thats not breaking any rules or covenants Bray.

Hope Beyonce does well and has a shot at getting to No 1 even this week.I am not a fan of the song but Gaga and Britney have been so underwhelming with there comeback songs hopefully Beyonce will put in some promotional appearances.

You're right thanks they all merge into one but that skit was hilarious.

They still show old episodes of The Chart Show on Vault TV it actually was really good and shows that British music in the nineties was really vibrant and musically diverse-Misteeq,Paul Young,Curiosity Killed the Cat, Swing Out Sister, Tamsin Archer and Desiree. TOTP may have been getting low ratings but I think they should have just changed the format with no R1 presenters as hosts rather people who knew alot about music.I think the Producer Chris Cowie just started running out of ideas to keep it fresh. CD-UK was really good and the presenters not annoying but funny, I remember watching one where Mariah Carey was back after her breakdown wearing a bridesmaid dress for some skit. She was still as mad as a loon.

I think all three were good and it would be great for new acts that do not get booked onto the major chat shows to get exposure on them if they were ever revived.
  11. I wonder if Charice is doing any promotion for Before it Explodes it peaked at 132 and is back down to 135.

Shayne did have it all and a competent label could have done wonders for him.He had a successful career but the 3rd album campaign was as bad as Joes.It has been going downhill for the past three years I do not know what he has actually been doing in all that time.
  13. I suppose the sad demise of Shayne and Joe at Syco means Alex will get a bit more attention.Shame its not to coincide with a new single. alexandramusic Alexandra Burke Well... I'll be at HMV, Cork - 81 Patrick St on Tuesday 26th at 1PM - 2PM doing a personal signing for my fans ! RT ! Be there !!!

Amen to that they are clueless and dont seem interested in longevity.I am surprised that Simon Cowell has no concern for the X-factor brand he is starting a new American version and culling winners left right and centre.I think Shayne should have left Syco 2 years ago at least he would have had a better chance of getting a new label.
  15. Charice has an excellent voice and her version should have been amazing.Prefer the Alexandra-Bruno version and maybe Charice should have released something more uptempo for her comeback song.
  16. Thanks I wonder if she is getting any radio airplay.
  17. How is Charice doing with her version of Before it Explodes.

I love Beyonce but it is truly terrible, it is something Willow Smith would do and what is with the swearing. Not enjoying any of the comeback songs from the ladies other than Adele.

How great would that be but I cannot see it happening, it would need radio airplay to kick in.Really pleased to see Nathan doing well, not his best song but he has a good voice.

The phenomenal Tracy Chapman who is so underated sang the original, it is a classic and I agree far better known than Dont Stop Believing.

BGT was truly dire, Fast Car was the only act that lifted the show.I think they were asking people to send in youtube tapes of their act towards the end because they had such rubbish acts. The standard has dropped so much plus the guy whose act was popping his eyes to Mr Bombastic-there are truly no words.

I have listened to it and I used to like Britney well into the Circus era but honestly Femme Fatale is poor. One techno, earache dance tune after the next that just merge into the other. There is no individuality, no Britney stamp, I can tell she just turned up to record songs she has little input in but surely her patient fans deserve better.

Thats not called for the guy did an okay job and sung the song with feeling and people clearly responded well to it.It is not on to call him ugly either, Fast Car is the best song in the Top 10.

Intruth after seeing some of her promo appearances in America I can understand why she is avoiding anymore live appearances. She still seems to be miming and her dancing for want of a better word is just wretched.I think she is both physically and emotionally just past it.Any good chart positions are just a bonus but I think she is finished. I like Wretch but Example is annoying beyond belief, I think they will go Top 10 but have little chance of going to No 1.
