Alex does work really hard but I think she accepts that some people still view her as the X-factor girl who has had success handed to her on a plate. Alexs fans are also really loyal and supportive though. I am shocked at R1 they really do hate her but fair play to them they have played Elephant a few times. :lol: I hope Elephant can keep climbing.

You are right he sounds like Peter Gabriel and looks like a young malnourished Peter Gabriel. Long term radio support is more important to ensure sales and longevity but a video that gets a high rotation has been very important to Elephant. Rise Elephant rise.

She has done the same promo she always does, I am not cussing it though.It does not compare to what the Sats or McFly would do though.They constantly tweet their fans, they would be on every kids show, having signings.

I think Tweamburke will organise a download day for Alex later this week. Not sure why RCA do not have her doing more promotion this week. If it was McFly or the Saturdays they would be everywhere doing everything no matter what. Just excited because the airplay has been poor and there are those hoping she would fall flat on her face.

Surely though signing with Simon Cowell and Syco they know what they are getting into. His interest in acts rarely lasts long, until he gets the new toy in a new Winner. It is a shame for not just Leona and Alex but Shayne and Joe who was treated terribly. Syco have little interest in taking the time to build long term success and careers. Will Young did it the right way and he has a career that has lasted 10 years.

It is very annoying that so many good UK acts like Natalia Kills, VV Brown, Cocknbullkid, Dionne Broofield, Jamie Woon get next to no radio support. Yet they are all so talented and better than most of what is in the charts. It is not as if the American acts are better but UK radio pimps them hard.
