  1. It even more annoying considering there are female singers with great voices and they dont get the same mainstream attention. Natalia Kills, Melanie Fiona and Ledisi who was on Jay Leno this week and got no buzz from it even though she smashed it. http://thatgrapejuice.net/2012/01/ledisi-rocks-leno-bravo/
  2. Thats so true apart from Cheryl "cant sing live" Cole :P
  3. Nerves are no excuse for that Lana del Rey mess. She is overrated and it is annoying when such weak voiced vocalists get so much hype. Pixie is getting worse, it is a shame that the UK has such low standards for live vocals.
  4. Not sure what either are about: Damien Rice had a song called Elephant that came and went. Ladytron did White Elephant
  5. She should not benefit, she looked nice but had a Lana del Rey moment and per usual sounded off key live. :P I hope Rizzle Kicks can climb to No 1.
  6. Thanks Liam, the autotune is less noticeable in HQ love the Middle 8. I really hope radio are supportive of the song Alex has been gone for awhile.
  7. Thanks PM me please but why cant it be posted here.
  8. That is hilarious but I suppose Alex has been gone for so long some people may think that. Scott Mills played it on R1 Ready For The Weekend, I wonder if the ban has been lifted  . In at 25 ok.com http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006wqcb
  9. Good for them, I hope they have a shot at No 1 they need one that does not involve Olly Murs.

Alex has not lost her personality in the least she needed to come back with a different sound and she kills it live. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPQxSDgc0Mc...eature=youtu.be
  11. It actually does sound like f*** occasionally, but that line would make no sense. The Daily Fail are sure to pick up on it. http://www.wearepopslags.com/listen-alexan...rillo-elephant/
  12. Alex's sound needs to change and improve pop is not the way for her to continue. It has done nothing for the careers of Pixie and The Saturdays staying with the same sound. I am glad that she has managed to pull off a catchy, dance track that is obviously going to be a big hit.

Alex's fourth No 1 for sure, it is getting a good reaction online and she is sure to have good promo. She did an amazing performance of the song live last night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPQxSDgc0Mc...eature=youtu.be
  14. I dont care about the autotune bits, you can still hear good vocals from Alex and she smashes it live. She needed to come back with a new sound and A BIG HIT AND SHE HAS DONE IT.
  15. You sure changed your mind quickly but the song is a sure fire hit she did an amazing job last night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPQxSDgc0Mc...eature=youtu.be
  16. The performance was amazing and the song live was stunning. I imagine a live band does not sound the same as a recorded version but I loved it. http://thatgrapejuice.net/2012/01/alexandr...comment-1141006
  17. The song does something really different at the end. The pace goes much faster and Alex does a dance routine surrounded by her dancers. The whole dance routine is smoking hot.
  18. Fear not Alex fans the single mix is absolutely brilliant, I actually cannot fault it. She performed it tonight with a full dance routine which is also amazing. It has everything that Alex needed to have what I think could be her biggest International hit. She does sing the entire song which I assume for the single that goes to radio next week has no autotune. The Intro is "You wanna talk, you wanna talk about it", she then sings a verse over a really hot beat then the chorus is a slow "theres an elephant in the room" The song is a dance track and builds to a really hot, hard finale. Love it.
  19. Pixie has taken 3 steps back this era, there is nothing interesting about this song. It will probably peak at 11.
  20. The bad boys of England really, they did a good job though hope they do well.
  21. Alex talking about the single mix in new DS interview and Elephant video being shot next week. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/intervie...-beginning.html
  22. The BRITS have never been very welcoming to Alex. If she performs it will be as part of a duet with someone else. I was thinking maybe Dancing on Ice.
  23. I hope the reason for the pushback is for better television promotion, I assume they have something big lined up. Any other reason is infuriating. Elephant is a hit in the making RCA better not mess up.

Angel feat Wretch-32 Go in Go Hard has a good chance at going to No 1 it is a really good song. DJ Fresh will certainly get to No 1 his best song after Golddust. Of course Elephant will stomp its way to No 1 the remix is fire. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...p;v=ddC5PVfMJAI
  25. Everything HAS to be better for Alex this era. Better hair, better stage outfits, videos released on time and no more single push backs. I hope this is the last time the song is referred to as Erick Morillos song.
