I don't think Haiti will be number 1 for that long personally. The media attention is dying down and music sales through tradgedies are usually based on how much of a media attention there is at the time of when sales are released. If it had been released say, a week after, it could have been (of course that's not possible). There's also a lot of negativity about the way the aid is being distributed at the moment which is putting people off as well I'd imagine.

Anyone want to have a rough guestimate at what potential sales figures we are looking at for this? There was a lot of talk it could be bigger than Band Aid. Band Aid sold around 3.5 million. Could it really be bigger than that? Considering the biggest selling single last decade was only 1.8 million by Will Young? What sort of sales prediction could it achieve? A million+ maybe? I'm just curious you see as theres an awful lot of big acts and awful lot of hype. So it could be anything?

Iyaz only 2/3rds of Owl City's now. Iyaz's lead was nothing like that at the beginning, I'd be amazed if Owl doesn't get to number 1 now. I'd say he'll be twice as far ahead come saturday evening.

Yeah but Owl was behind half of the week, and the his lead for the second half of the week is set to much greater than Iyaz's was over him. I say by saturday evening Owl will be twice as far ahead of him on itunes. How much does 'a few somewhere in the top 200' count for? Not a lot I'd imagine. I say Owl has got it. I hope I'm wrong though, because days of 2+ weekers have been a thing of the past recently. None since Taio Cruz? :(

The rate between RATM and Gaga on that last bar was as close as it has been in the last few days. I'd say Joe's just fallen, rather than RATM "massively increased". We'll see though tomorrow.

The bookies have had Joe nearly all of the latter end of this week. Even going as high as 1/10, currently about 1/3-1/2. The bookies usually have a good record in these vote/phone in/popularity contests so we'll see.

God some people have an obsession with Simon Cowell it's becoming unhealthy. I hate the X Factor as much as anyone but who cares? He's a billionaire at the end of the day. Something me or you will never be, he won't care in context of his life.
