PSB are scheduled to be out promoting the album a lot over the week, including some live performances on the tube, and this seems to be their best reviewed album in awhile, it may go higher.
  2. The digital single with B sides and remixes also hit today so maybe people are getting ads that hadn't seen it before for it and deciding to download it. By the way, one of the B sides "An Open Mind" is catchy as hell.
  3. Easily the song with longest staying power in ages for them. Radio 2 A list for 4 weeks now and airplay is actually increasing overall. They should get out and promote it!
  4. Here it is live from Hyde Park, I hope it gives it a boost, fantastic song! LmeNkj7n-xs
  5. "Love etc." in 2009 made it as high as #30 on the iTunes chart, while charting at #14 on the official chart.

Graham Norton played a radio mix of "Inner sanctum" on BBC Radio 2 today, in case anyone wants to hear it. I can't post links it seems, but it's at 1:27:35 on the show. He also talks about the new album for a bit and mentions a four part special on PSB coming up in a few months.
  8. Yes, it would seem. And for those who care about such things, the new track has much better sonics than Electric, much better dynamic range.
  9. "Sanctum" is a buzz track, the first single is called "The Pop Kids", no idea when it is out.

They have done a 4 min edit (been played on radio 2 a few times) and it supposedly will be a single....Although I think The Last To Die or Thursday would be more radio friendly. But they seem to be doing everything different this time.

Just thought I would bump this up since the album is dropping this weekend. It is seriously a fine album, even by PSB standards. Highly recommended. Mojo 4/5, Q 4/5, Uncut 8/10, The Telegraph 5/5, The Guardian 4/5, The Independent 4/5, MusicOMH 5/5, NME 8/10
