Their looking at the bottom half of the Top 50 by the looks of it.
  3. Thanks for the feedback on the mix guys :). I've also done a remix for it (as apposed to the mashup) which will be finished next month. Also, HMV and Amazon are selling the un-signed coppies of the phsyical CD for My Heart Takes Over.. but for £5 (as apposed to past prices of £1.99). <_<
  4. Poor Ness and Rochelle. I'd hate to be in their shoes. It must be difficult knowing you're not as popular as a person compared to some of your band-mates. :(
  5. Wham - Last Christmas didn't make #1 either did it? It should be a Christmas track I agree.
  6. Lol my bad, internet troubles! :P should be ready soon, just need some cleaner vocals.
  7. What do you get when All Fired Up meets My Heart Takes Over? 'My Heart's All Fired Up' - http://soundcloud.com/2nd-adventure/the-sa...s-my-hearts-all
  8. So many factors play a part on the slow demise of albums sales. I don't think it's a case of what new methods need to be used, it's what they have that can be utilized better. Like mentioned above, social media, promotional and marketing techniques. Just slight tweaks to get more people spending again.
  9. The proof will be in the pudding, as they say. (AKA the official chart on Sunday) I have 161.5k down in the Sales thread  69k, 34k, 20k, 14k, 15k (ish), 9k = 161k
  10. 2ndAdventure posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
Thanks, I'll add them in now :)
  11. If you say so! I doubt it though. The worrying thing is My Heart Takes Over will most likely sell more than the album. Album sales are poor at the moment so hopefully they'll ride the Christmas market sales-wave, but it's too risky.
  12. Thanks Jay, I'll add it all in now :)
  13. Pleased it's made the C-List, and it'll probably go C-B-B-A just like Notorious and All Fired Up. :)
  14. Yeah they're out the Top 40 now unless they reduce the price which they shouldn't have to, but they need to be in the charts for the exposure. The tour and album isn't going to sell itself!
  15. 6wks Top 40, urgh :( They shouldn't have to reduce it to 59p, but they need to stay in the charts to build hype for On Your Radar. Two singles that look like are going to sell less than 200k isn't boding that well so far.
  16. I'm not going round making personal remarks, so please keep your opinions to yourself if you have nothing positive to say. I've commented on the subject in the past "month" yes that this is "swings and roundabouts" and that "we'll have to see what happens" but I haven't gone to the level of moaning about other artists getting on xfactor instead of The Sats. I thought I'd even just double check doing a search on my posts and that is all I've said. It's tiresome reading posts about members bitching about other artists, and that "The Sats are more deserving" or something along those lines. Stop nit-picking about things in the past and focus on the positive input that is going into these topics. I've posted plenty of positive comments that "if artists that have a smaller profile are performing, The Saturdays have a bigger chance" but me being a hypocrite apparently seems to be more important... Moving on. :)
  17. I'm the forum mod, i read everything. I understand it's a discussion forum, but this is a recurring subject and it's becoming tiresome. You say they're being snubbed but the release of My Heart Takes Over is still a month away, there's still time. And if Pro.Green is on next week then surely that means there is light at the end of the tunnel for The Sats as artists with a smaller profile than them are performing. Don't be so quick to judge.
  18. Every cloud has a silver lining, theyre getting plenty of press coverage lately with reports she had left, and now this. Hope shes well soon
  19. Please quit the moaning about xfactor, if it happens it happens and that is how it shall be. Its not the be all and end all.
  20. The Sats aren't releasing untill another 4wks though. Why would they be on next week? There's no point trying to hype them up for it if they don't get a slot. They've still got 2 months to sell more tickets and personally (I think I say this on behalf of alot of more casual fans) I think more tickets will be sold after the album's out. People will have heard the tracks, decided whether they like them or not, and buy tickets for the tour if they like them. The release date is just too close to the tour. Tours and albums are usually seperated by up to 6 months. This will just be 4wks.
  21. ^^ that UKairplaychart.co.uk or whatever is is useless though when it comes to anything outside 'their' Top 40. I mean look at their video airplay chart the other week, Sats 2wks at #1 and they where at #6-#13 something like that? Radio 1 playlisted All Fired Up 4wks pre-release and that went C-B-B-A (A-List for the release week, not on the release week - remember their playlist is anounced 5 days before the new playlist is in use) and the same happened for Notorious (leading up to the 'focus' release date). Hopefully it'll be added on Wednesday to become effective the week after.
  22. According to someone on PopJustice, the Liverpool date has sold out.
  23. You've made some excellent points Lee. The whole point of a single is to promote the album and if it's 2nd offering can't even stay Top 40 for 6wks then there may be a bit of an issue. You can see why they wanted to put 3 singles out before the albums release now. I normally look at their discography and try to predict what 'My Heart Takes Over' will do for them, same with 'On Your Radar', but because their discography is so over the place for one reason or another it's really hard to say what's in store for them.
  24. Reasonable? For customers maybe yes. The industry would fall flat on it's face.
  25. Oh this is not good... I would have put the price down to 59p last week and the fact that they haven't says this: a) They need a dollar, dollar, dollar, a dollar is what they need b) Will hopefully persuade more people to buy the album instead c) The next single is coming out in 4wks, they might want a bit of a gap in the charts to make way for My Heart Takes Over But this is so far under-performing. Such a great start though.
