  1. Ohh I just assumed that since Ness said they're wrapping up a recording for the next single I just thought it was the DJ Fresh track as that was/is one of the last of the tracks. Thank you very much :)

  3. a) don't be a fan then b) why do you support/have been a supporter of them if they're a flop from their debut 5yrs ago c) if you think you can do a better job than their team then try it d) then don't be here e) the girls co-wrote pretty much every song on On Your Radar... stop talking rubbish.
  4. Going from what Ness said to Digital Spy chances are high that they're releasing the DJ Fresh track, which if not the last recording, one of the last to finish for the album. Just refreshed my mind with Not Giving Up On Love. Sounds better than I remembered it. I wouldn't have wanted it instead of Gentlemen though. Gentlemen sounded a lot more quirky and different. Lease My Love is growing on me as well.

It is a shame that this may not go Top 10, but it wont change anything. Yes it's disheartening that they went from a #1 to what looks like to be a minor hit, but it's not going to change anything. I love Gentlemen, I think it is such a 'cool' song, especially for The Saturdays. At least it shows that the album is going to be quite diverse and not presumably full of dance tracks.

The performance they did on This Morning yesterday was such a good come-back performance for them as a 5-piece. It was live, no pre-recorded 'lets look like we're actually singing live when we're really miming to other vocal takes from the studio' here. There is no way in hell that that was mimed. There are some low-level vox in the background but that's standard. You can hear that behind Mollie and Frankie in particular, burt it's no biggie. The routine looked great as a 5-piece too. Outfits weren't fantastic, I don't think they really went together well; maybe that's because so far the outfits they've performed Gentlemen to pre This Morning have been really colourful. Performing on those sort of shows are always tricky regarding putting on a good performance, because of the lack of space and the environment is completely different. The effect you get from performing a song at a festival or at an arena will be completely different compared to when you perform it on a tv show. Especially when you have no studio audience too. Overal it was really good.

They've actually done the right thing. Following up to 'What About Us' with 'Gentlemen' is a good move. It's the albums they need to shift, and so far the album's shaping to be quite versatile, based on what we've heard so far. That is exactly what they want the consumer to think. If they release dance track after dance-pop track, the appeal isn't as strong as conveying the sounds of the album through different genres of singles. We've hardly heard any of their upcoming LP apart from What About Us, Gentlemen and clips of Not Giving Up On Love and Lease My Love. What if Gentlemen is the most exciting track on the album? It's too soon to jump to conclusions! Gentlemen hasn't even been released yet! It's like when we all say that they should have released Get Ready Get Set instead of My Heart Takes Over, but honestly, I don't really see that doing much better either. At the end of the day, if the interest is there, anything will sell. For example, take The Wanted. Personally, I see them as a male version of The Saturdays. Created and put together by the same person, same template etc. Look at 'Walks Like Rihanna'.. one of the most hiddious boy-band songs i've ever come across, and since it's iTunes debut at number 2, it's slipped quite fast, and it's received really good airplay too. You can have all the airplay in the world, but if you go round acting like c**ks and releasing rubbish music people wont take notice. I do feel like 'Gentlemen' has made people take a second look at The Saturdays because it wasn't a predictable song to come back with from What About Us.

Have they confirmed any promo yet? Will be nice to see them as a 5-piece again. Wildfire is yet again another brilliant b-side. Probably not as good as Not That Kinda Girl, or Ladykiller, but defiantly up there with those two. Come to think of it, haven't The Alias produced all three of those tracks? The verses are so good, and trust Mollie to get the Billie Piper reference. The chorus is good, but it feels like it doesn't build enough from verse to chorus. The production is spot on, I think it's more the melodic arrangement of the chorus. I love how it's not fully centred around one member either. Sounds very Una/Rochelle/Vanessa to me. Doesn't Vanessa sound amazing in this track as well?!

All I can remember is the whole "That's not a chorus! There is NO chorus!" yadadadada

Notorious is their most critically acclaimed song?! Seriously?! Is this common knowledge?

I've came across this too. Lots of my friends have been facebooking and tweeting lyrics from it, and they're not usually Saturdays fans. Got the whole "Wasn't keen on it at first but it's really grown on me" too.

I love the video, absolutely love the video. .. that is when you get past the bad lighting and greenscreen. There is some truley quality Sats moments. The concept is really good with the Desperate Housewives theme. The plot is actually quite clever too. The girls playing themselves as men, and the girls swooning over their gifts. It is supposidely true that you are attracted to yourself. If anything it's quite a mic-take, hense the lyrics of the song, "he aleady had the milk so why would he go buy the cow?". It's very over the top, and because of this, it's fake, plastic and very hard looking. And the greenscreen and lighting actually really enphasise that. Overall I think it's a job well done. There's not much else they could have done with a heavily pregnant Rochelle. I like that their last 3 videos have all been very uplifting, makes a change.

They all sing in the chorus. I have heard every part of the vocals. There's a recording with all of them singing, and then all recorded individually. They all get a 'solo' line in the chorus apart from Una. All 5 of them are in the chorus though.

The EP contains the new bside 'Wildfire' (a co-write by The Alias) and also features mixes from The Alias, 2nd Adventure and Signature. There's also one by Focus SOS but it's not on the EP so not sure what's happening with that one.

Frankie lines. "A gentelemen's so 1999 so hard for a girl to find, uh" (Opening chorus) "You could at least be faithful" (it is her solo section of that chorus, It's propped up by lots of her backing vocals) Then the entire section just after the rap and before the "GO 90s" outro. "1999, so 1999" during the outro. Just putting it out there.

That part really stuck out like a saw thumb for me. I can see what they were going with, and it works in a sense, but there's just no real presence of a lead vocal in that last section. For the track to kick back in after a rap and go straight into a Frankie driven backing vocal.. it falls on it's face until the GO GO GO 90s. There may be a remix that really beefs that last section up. Who knows.

The series has been hugely popular in the UK. Hopefuly it'll get re-commissioned even if it's just for the UK. It's hit the mark very well with the UK audience, It's really clicked. I think if you took elements from the E! series and put them into their ITV2 series, you'd have the perfect mix. I was surprised that the E! series didn't focus that much on their career, but with that sort of network it wasn't unexpected. However, their friendships have really shone through, and they've portrayed them as a very tight-knit group.
  22. Indeed, but sounds a bit wish-washy compared to the other clips we've heard.
  23. Don't know if anyone has seen this. This is the demo of Lease My Love produced by Darkchild -
