  1. A member down again?! Again?! My hunch is that Vanessa has lost her voice. They mimed to some dodgy pre-recorded vocals on This Morning the other day after they'd done a live performance fine on Tonights The Night.

Both are as effective as each other whether the promo is pre or post release. That would have been like saying 2yrs ago that after an Xfactor slot (where the track is released midnight) they'll only climb higher if they do another performance somewhere else, which isn't necesarily true. My point about the performance on the show might not be as effective was regarding Red or Blacks viewing figures this evening. They opened with 6.9m last night which will be no where near as high tonight. If Leona can only just get to #10 on iTunes after 6.9m then It does question what will happen with Pixies tonight.

What's with all the negetivity in here? -_- I think some people can't face facts that The Saturdays right now are doing better than Pixie and Leona. I say right now because this could go either way. It could for all we know do another 'Missing You' like last year and be ahead in the Mids by a few thousand coppies right untill the last minute. I'm suprised Leona is only at #10! I thought she'd be alot higher considering she performed on Red or Black last night. If that's anything to go by, maybe Pixie wont benefit much from it as well?
  8. I think it was Missing You last year when they'd only just got Top 10 by mid-day on iTunes? And their already at #3? Wowza

Cannot believe I've stayed awake just to see the first iTunes update  Anyhoo.. 20. The Saturdays - All Fired Up 113. Pixie Lott - All About Tonight 168. Avicii / Leona Lewis - Collide
  11. Yay! Can't wait to see them on there next week :yahoo: 15 minutes to go

Apologies! I thought you were talking about Collide being the best of the three

Hmm? I wasn't aware The Saturdays have a major promo slot either?
  14. I really do think it's anyones game now tomorrow, especially if the Irish iTunes is anything to go by

It has been pretty close all week on iTunes between #1 and #2, but Examples lead has not been that big over Maroon 5. Their lead is now over 30% of Example. Suprise #1 maybe? I hope so. Not keen on Stay Awake at all.

I'm not sure what sort of campaign The Sats have led over in Ireland but from what I've heard, there's been no promotion, nor radio airplay etc - and to get to #5 on just an Extended Mix alone.. that's pretty good going. The Irish charts hardly mirror the UK chart, but it can give us a good indication.
  17. Top 5 on the Extended mix alone is fantastic. Un-heard of?

I don't believe The Saturdays single EP is actually listed as an album or EP which is why it's not in the iTunes album chart?
  19. "I contacted the Dealer" I think it's great that Tim speaks to the fans! It even suprised me when he signed up to their official forum and commented on the upcoming Xenomania tracks (just simply stating that they are Xenomania tracks).
  20. Irish iTunes udpate: 04. Avicii / Leona Lewis - Collide -- 11. Pixie Lott - All About Tonight -- 013. The Saturdays - All Fired Up (Extended Mix) 078. The Saturdays - All Fired Up (The Alias Radio Edit) 132. The Saturdays - Notorious The Sats are #11 combined, pushing Pixie down to #12. I'm still slightly baffled that this is doing well for Ireland on just the remixes alone!

See it's funny because their last single (which they released on air/on sale) managed to debut at #8 on no airplay and video rotation (because it was on air/on sale), but on just one performance on BBC1s 'So You Think You Can Dance'. Sure it had a terrible chart run, but it managed to sustain 9wks in the Top 40, with a radio peak of #28, and #18 on video airplay. Their first week will be front-loaded, but realistically they'll be Top 5 at least if their previous single is anything to go by.
  22. And I don't believe I actually directed any of my comments at you either.
  23. I'm sorry but I'm no loon. -_- You can't win. Apparently all I do is contribute 'negative' remarks.. and now I'm a loon? You gotta laugh sometimes. <_< I don't see how pointing out the cock-ups of these 'missing' bundles makes me a loon? Talk about being OTT.. My point was if it is being done on purpose then they're going to lose sales. If the public (and fan-base) can't find the main version of the song, chances are they're going to go and download it illeagally because it is out there. This messing about with iTunes and Amazon is just strange to say the least. I don't think it'll be #1, nor have I ever said on here that it will be. Nor have I ever expected it to be as yet again they've picked a busy week to release on. No one's saying "if this misses out at #1 by a few 100 coppies".
  24. It's all been done on purpose by the label, all of this is just too coinsidental... - A late video premier due to 'technical difficulties' - Amazon releases the Single EP early - Amazon deletes the Single EP - Irish iTunes deletes the Single EP - Irish iTunes offers the Remix EP - Remix EP isn't even available in the UK iTunes - Amazon is not offering the Single EP either - only the Remix EP, at the moment..
  25. So let me get this right.. Irish iTunes have 'deleted' the Single EP (including the Radio Edit, Ladykiller etc) yet added in the Remix EP.. which isn't available to Pre-Order in the UK?! It dosen't make sence. It's also strange how All Fired Up is still missing from Amazon in the UK after they 'accidently' released it early. Anyhoo, it's funny how their 'main' competition (Pixie Lott - in the UK at least) is below them, and being beaten by a 'remix' of the track, ha! Strange times.
