  3. What? Its a forum. Stop being so serious. Critising is allowed the last time i checked. I always support them and give credit where its due, but im not gonna stand around looning that everythings rosy. There are issues with them right now (like every other artist out there) and to not point them out and discuss them because i might 'criticise' them or be 'negative', defeats the point of a forum. And im contributing to no fire. You cant fuel one over some lousy supposed bitchy interactions at a gig that we saw and heard in low quality. Theres no crime against posting what you are seeing. I dont see a huge uproar. As they say, if you cant stand the heat, step away from the kitchen.
  4. I don't know. I mean last week they had All Fired Up at #41 last Sunday when it was #39.
  5. Is it me or do her vocals even from 2008 sound screechy and forced-like? At least she could sing in her head voice then, which she can't do very well now. Just Can't Get Enough. But it looks more like Vanessa was 'passing' it to Mollie looking back at it now.
  6. It's not official. That website is un-reliable.
  7. Then don't throw a hissy fit complaining that people are "NEVER supportive of them"? Because the support is there, for when they put on a good show.
  8. I'm sorry but she sounded terrible. She may have tried to belt out Forever Is Over but at what cost? Every time she tries to do something like that she gets worse at it every time. You can't deny that. Her lower ranges are fine, but everything in her head voice and beyond are just awful. She really has messed her voice up. She was straining her voice and cracking up. It's not meant to sound like that at all. I'll cut her slack for trying yes, but in future she shouldn't. Afterall this is the reason why her voice has deteriated. Oh please, it's a discussion board, we're allowed to speculate. I'm a massive supporter of the group but I'm not gonna lick their arse when they put on a bad show.
  9. There where without a doubt technical hitches the whole way through. The pre-recorded instruments weren't going from the mixer on stage to the live stream for some reason resulting in some very 'flat' and 'distant' sounding performances, especially in All Fired Up and Notorious where the magoirty of the tracks are pre-recorded instruments (ie sounds that cannot be produced live). All Fired Up was almost acapella! They're still having trouble with keeping the microphones infront of their mouths. You'd think it was so simple. Vanessa keeps 'forgetting' to keep it near her mouth when she turns her head or whatever and the range of the mic just dosen't pick her up so the sound appears to cut out. It was litrally Frankie 'leading' the Up chorus in falsetto more than once which sounded awful. I don't know what an earth was going on with the mixing and mic levels but this is not the only time where their live sound has been sub-par. You only have to look at some other gigs they've done recently to see how flat the sound really is. I can't believe there are 5 girls in this group yet only 1 or 2 can or will sing in a chorus live. It's rediculous. They even stopped singing in Ego when they are standing still with the mic stands and relied on the backing track to do the work for them. They are so lazy sometimes it's un-real. To think that they are doing an arena tour in a few months scares me. They're not ready at all after todays shoddy performance at V.
  10. From the live stream I watched earlyer, their set was awful. Possibly the worst gig by them. The set was riddled with issues from start to beginning (pardon the pun). Their stage presence was sloppy, the interaction with the audience was lame and half-arsed, the set was messy (microphone stands being left in the way etc), the mixing was completely off sounded awful.. All Fired Up was practically sung in acapella. Vanessa was having serious problems with her voice, that is the worst I have ever heard her condition to date, whatever that may be. She was seriously straining her voice to hit all the notes that she hasn't done for a very long time now. Something has changed overnight because from what I've seen on YouTube yesterdays show at Western Park was their typical show and Vanessa wasn't forcing out anything she didn't have to.. Today was a completely different situation, they all looked like they didn't want to be there. I hate to say it but they actually all looked really pissed off, whether it was with each other I don't know but watching it didn't feel right at all. Mollie came on to stage late for whatever reason, there's a moment over a scramble with the mic-stand with Vanessa and Mollie where Mollie ends up dragging it to the side of the stage and slamming it down, Rochelle takes a pop with the "everyone thinks we can't sing" blah blah blah and the intonation in her voice convinced me she wasn't saying it in a jokey way. There was whispering inbetween performances and when the set was over they litrally all said "thank you" in such a rambled formation and ran off. I hate to say it but something wasn't right at all. On the other hand the choreography was good, and the vocals (apart from poor Ness) were good too. Why does that not suprise me? The way things sounded on the live stream earlyer was awful.
  11. Out the Top 50 Airplay already but #15 on video Airplay.
  12. Can I just comment that that http://www.ukairplaychart.com is NOT official. It's 'chart' is incorrect (It has All Fired Up at #41 when it's really at #39) and the Rolling-7-Day chart should not be treated as a midweek chart.

Top 30 you mean? Airplay isnt the be all and end all and dosent always mirror the singles chart.

I find it interesting that people slate a track because its 'generic'. Funnily enough alot of people like generic. And i dont think consumers will hold that agaisnt them.

The whole thing just looks like a big stunt and i hope it flops.

We did have the airplay peaks and runs on here but they've vannished! I would like them too though yes!
  18. Leona wont promote. The press coverage from the court case and the plagorism claims will be enough. Why would they plonk a 'global superstar' on a small lunch-time chat show... to perform!?
  19. http://popjustice.com/images/stories/j/saturdaysallfiredupartwortk.jpg Best sleeve by far I think! The flood of colour is nice. Nice. It's an empty adjective.
  20. Digital Spy is just a bunch of Saturdays bashers. I was routing through their All Fired Up thread and it's just full of negetivity. I think the best balance is on PopJustice. The Sats out-do Sugababes in every way in their video, even though I do like Freedom. Both are budget videos and simple in their own right, and strangely enough they did the complete oposite of what video concept the tracks should have had. I thought alot wasn't going on in All Fired Up and felt a bit samey after halfway through, but Freedom is the same thing the whole way through and there is no sence of direction at all. That's terrible considering Sugababes had a whole track to work with whereas The Sats had 6 lines of lyrics to come up with a decent video. Freedom has some nice lighting and effects, but you can't see what's going on half the time which is a problem. The Sats had some brilliant lighting and they portrayed the energy of the track in the lights and the water which was a fantastic piece of non-obvious creativity. Someone actually called the video for All Fired Up generic yet thought the video for Freedom wasn't. Lol-dumb-dumb-dumb-dumb
  21. I think the video is great! It's a bit of a Work 2.0 but it's a vast improvement from Notorious and shows them with a more mature edge. Not overly sexy, but more glamerous. They have done a brilliant job in steering away from the generic club scene and instead come up with this other-end-of-the-spectrum video. Instead of fire they're using water, not something that suits this video, but it works and it's very creative and original for a song like this.
  22. How strange/wrong/funny would it have been if All Fired Up was released on the Sunday just gone? (Reffering to riots in London)
  23. Mixes have leaked due to the club promo being distributed earlyer this week via Euro Soloutions. They'll be doing All Fired Up and another song that they'll sing with someone else.
  24. On July 17th it grabbed 4.2m, that's not too bad is it? :)
