All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
I don't know why we're suprised at the structure for All Fired Up, it was Xenomania written/prodcued. They're notorious (pardon the pun) for throwing structure out the window. :P Oh, and.. Hopefully this means lots of scene changes indicating a possible storyline video.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Anyone got any concepts for the video? I think as long as they stay away from the 'club' scene they'll be fine. 2 videos in a row being in the club would be awful. However, they could get away with a house party. The girls throwing a house party would be a good concept. As long as there are cut-away shots of them individually with lots of bright backgrounds and wind machines I shall be happy. And a few scenes of the routine would be nice as well, considering they haven't filmed a routine in a video since Missing You.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
I think it will carry on their traditional '2nd single' sales run ie it'll be a good seller and follow in the footsteps of Up, Ego and Higher. It's success is too early on to predict right now imo.

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
Stop making a drama out of it. It's fallen alot compared to Sundays position of #31 on iTunes because of the Amy Winehouse tracks (there's 5 of them - 7 of them infront of them in the midweeks), then there's the new enteries (3 of them) and an OCC error on the JLS b-side. That's a total of 11 'new' enteries, which will be a total of 10 tomorrow when the JLS error is fixed. It wouldn't suprise me if Notorious re-enters next week if not creep back in at the end of this week.

Lazy Saturdays
What? It's increadibly lazy! It looks very bad on them when they perform it. It may not be noticeable to people who don't watch their performances like a hawk, but for fans it's very obvious. I can't believe their choreographer can get away with it. - The whole 'claw' move in "get your claws out" has been re-cycled from Ego and Missing You with the twisting of the wrists with the 'claw' like fingers. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i70BDWzcuQM&t=1m17s) And the "closer baby look in my eyes do you recognise me?" line from Notorious has exactly the same moves as the line in All Fired Up "Keep me on your radar". (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i70BDWzcuQM&t=2m43s) It's very lazy and I can't believe their choregrapher(s) couldn't think of anything else better to do, or anything better to suit the lyric. They are dancers though, they may not be brilliant dancers, but the whole "they're not that good, they wont/can't remember alot of moves" excuse is rubbish.

Lazy Saturdays
Hmm. I'll give you what's lazy.. What's lazy is their choreography. Re-using and re-cycling moves in All Fired Up from Notorious and Ego. What's lazy is Vanessa showing a lack of committment (see this weeks flip). They're busy girls, they're allowed to take a holdiay, when their management/label agrees. It was hardly their fault personally when they were allowed to go on holiday on the week of release for Notorious. Their management okayed it.

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
Oh ok, well at least JLS will be combined :)

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
It might be. Just because it's not in the selected mids dosen't mean it's out of the Top 40. There are two tracks in the mids that should be combined so if they are out the Top 40, that will make another two re-appear into the Top 40 tomorrow. Edit: Yep, it's out the Top 40. However, when the Amy tracks start to trickle out at the end of the week, it could re-enter next week if it dosen't this week by Sunday.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Not really. I'm no fan of Pixie Lott, when I heard her new single I disliked it. Thought it wasn't her 'style' at all. I like it now though. I think that's the same situation people have found themselves in with All Fired Up.

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
.. Which is why Wikipedia kept deleting the positions from their discography...

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
So it's on about 141k now? Not so bad. It'll hopefully out-sell Forever Is Over in the next week or two then.

The Saturdays - All Fired Up. Where will it chart?
This ain't their best work, but it is so brilliant in a weird sort of way. It's so addictive it's un-real.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
^^ All I'm saying is, If you live in the UK, wait untill the HMV pre-order becomes available. I'm sure they'll be selling both CDs (hopefully). the 2-track CD is £1.99 and the delivery is free if you live in the UK, and if you order it before a week or two of it being released, you usually get it 2 days before release. :)

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Got in from work today and All Fired Up had been in my head all day, it was actually really annoying and irritating, but at least it's working! This is a such an uplifting, care-free, non-serious song. You can just litrally listen to it, rave to it whatever casually, and not feeling like you have to know all the words if you get me.

The Saturdays - All Fired Up. Where will it chart?
It was shockingly wrote by Xenomania, you know.. the people who did 99% of the Girls Aloud stuff. They must have wrote this in a few minutes, 6 sentences of lyrics in a song! However, it's catchy and the lyrics are stuck in your head after the 2nd/3rd listen.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
It's not that disimilar from Missing You and Notorious if I'm gonna be honest about it. Very similar 'rave lead' thing going on the middle 8 of Missing You and the dance orientated beat from Notorious (+ much of their back catalogue). Missing You and Notorious have pathed the way nicely for All Fired Up. I love this, so full of energy. And listening to Notorious before-hand makes it a rather enjoyable experience. Aren't Sugababes releasing 19th September now?.. You're still making predictions? Good lord. "Notorious will be lucky to outsell If This Is Love" "Notorious will outsell Missing You" "I predict Notorious will sell over 200k" "Notorious wont outsell Missing You".. It only premiered a couple of hours ago! Leave the predictions untill the radio play builds up, at least..

The Saturdays - All Fired Up. Where will it chart?
PWn37lqpqXc The Saturdays release All Fired Up on September 4th which is the follow up to their 10th single Notorious which is on course to spend its 9th week in the Top 40 this week.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
The thing is though, this is what Missing You should have sounded like after Frankies intro. We all pined for it, but the second they release something like All Fired Up it's "shit". Can't have it both ways! The good thing is it's damb catchy, generic, commercial, radios will eat this alive which will hopefully redeem them after their radio glitch with Notorious. It may not necesarily be 'them', but they need to play this one safe, and releasing something which has followed a trend this year is the right answer right now.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Summing this up in one sentence.. A train going full steam ahead about to de-rail - epic. It's hardly a typical dance track either due it's freestyle structure, but not as stop and start as Notorious. It sounds actually very Xenomania dispite that it's a dance track. Love the whole carnival/conga/percussion thing going on in the background, just to make the seperation from the 'dance' genre. It all works very well together.

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
#34 in the mids today! Can't believe this will be it's 9th week in the Top 40! And will hopefully make a 10th/11th week in the next week or two! And on so little airplay! That's good news for them!

The saturdays - All Fired Up Snippet *New*
Thank God PopJustice loves it! Just a bit of confidence we need right now! I think he's said it exactly how it is, they need a big hit and this will hopefully give it them, whether it's increadibly commercial or not.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Personality-deviod club drivel. I'll probabbly like it though. The clip is actually irriting. The rhythm of the lyrics "All fired up, I feel alive" sounds completely off with it's timing - it just dosen't fit the beat at all. When/if people sing along to this, it's gonna sound like a complete mess. The b-side sounds nice though.
