They wanna hope that radio supports this after the Notorious fiasco. I don't think they'll get as much support as they did this time last year with Missing You. Shame, but nevermind.

I think they have a slim chance at Top 40 this week. And Lee, in all respect the campaign has been executed fine apart from the promo starting a bit late. They couldn't have got more/better slots if they tried. You can't expect them to spend alot of money going on shows like So You Think You Can Dance and Graham Norton and then still expect them to do This Morning too, and smaller shows like that - they have a budget for a reason. Notorious has been a bit sub-par for them, and the whole on air/on sale thing didn't work out as well as they thought it would. But at least they gave it a go, and it least it was with Notorious. Imagine if they had done the exact same campaign with a better track. :huh: Disaster.

You have got to be joking? They'll get whipped with all that competion! Interesting to see they're not doing on air/on sale. They should have carried on with it tbh.

They'll still need to treat it as a 'normal' release though. As soon as they release it they should start the promo then, then put the video out 2wks later. That should guarentee a more stable chart rather than it pulling a 'Notorious'. It frustrates me how their team are so obvlivious to the most simple things that would make a campaign work. We could do a better job than them..

It will be day and date release again, of course it will. Reverting back to their old ways would be admitting they've failed at it and can't pull it off, because in all fairness Notorious hasn't done that bad has it.

If I remember correctly, Ego was the 3rd most chery-picked track from that Now compilation. Not sure if Notorious will do as well, but it will deffinately give the track a boost as it will be probabbly out the Top 40 by then.

The "exlusive video" thing they've got going on was Karma live from the Headlines tour, and it wasn't very good. And the Monday chart is like 90% iTunes positions, and 10% sales from this time last year (something like that) so it does show a reflection to an extent of what it will look like tomorrow in the mids. I'm not sure where this news that Notorious has sold 18k this week. It hasn't had a sales increase this week which has been confirmed by Haven.

#40 on Airplay (#29 last week), and #28 on TV airplay (#30 last week)

I had a feeling this would be its 3rd week at #21. If Notorious was one place above it each they could have had 5wks Top 20. Nevermind!!! #20 on iTunes so it's stable at least :)
