I don't get what could be re-fueling its rebirth? The promo is done, Radio 1 has dropped it from their playlist.. how odd! :mellow: Not complaining though! Mind you, Adele kept doing that with Set Fire to The Rain for about 2wks, dropping, then climbing throughout the week by about 10 places, then dropping back down again, etc. I think it'll be at #23 tomorrow.

It seemed a bit odd that they were going to be on 3 programs on ITV one after the next (pretty much). Surely there must be some rule against this?

Normally when it gets down to the last 3 it then turns into a poll, no? I think the final 3 is the right choices believe it or not.

#26 in the mids. We can't control what the public want to hear and what they want to buy. People have got to face facts that people don't like Notorious as much as they do 'Party Rock Anthem' and the others you mentioned. Party Rock Anthem and The Lazy Song were both on air/on sale releases and like Notorious - radio were keen to support Notorious as it got Top 75 on Airplay after 48hrs of it going to radio, it's chart run then put radios off and rejected it from their playlists. Tracks like The Lazy Song and Party Rock Anthem got supported over time whereas Notorious got front-loaded and dropped down the chart as a result.

They only sold 600 more coppies this week? Urgh. #26 on the Monday chart as well.

Oh. I remember when Girls Alouds 'Out of Control' album went to £3 and it went into the Budget chart. :huh:

If it's less than £3 im sure it's not elegible for the UK Albums chart anyway..

This weeks peak was for Notorious's last week on A List at Radio 1 which is why it climbed, again. It's still charting really low on airplay which still does not suggest a lot of other stations are playing it. If anything they'll be dropping down starting from next week.

#29 on Airplay and #30 on TV Airplay.

#17 on the Almost Saturday chart. Adele moving up to #19 as she's #15 on iTunes now (was #14 earlyer). Hopefully The Sats have done enough to keep her at bay. One place higher won't change much but for some reason Adele has been rising up dramatically on iTunes from the Tuesday-Friday period then dropping back down to in the low 20's like a yo-yo, and it's not an effect of promo or weekend effect either! Combined, The Sats are possibly around #16/17 on iTunes as the Jorg Schmid mix is at #131, with an estimated 3% popularity.

What country do you live in? It's only peaked at #36 on airplay in the UK. :lol:
