  1. Yes :) Nothings confirmed, but if that Amazon release date of May 22nd is true then I imagine it'll be on air/on sale. It would tie in with what some radio presentors have said about it being released to radio "mid-May".
  2. Nothing has been confirmed yet though, I'm just saying what I think is going to happen. Amazon is saying 22nd May, but The Sats camp haven't confirmed this yet. They are taking a risk, but perhaps their team know this will do well and may not need all the build-up etc. If the digital release and physical release is that far apart, it suggests they're not aiming for a #1, but for chart longetivety which would be understandable as it will build a good foundation for the album. People will be more likely to rememeber it if it stays around longer in the chart than say it would do with everything front-loaded (ala Missing You). I think people are forgetting that they've done this model before for Issues, Work, Ego and Higher (3 of them have given The Sats their biggest selling singles). But there's no point me saying anymore untill it's confirmed then I could explain futher how it will work, or not.
  3. Amazon is saying it's gonna be released on May 22nd. And if that is true then they are doing on air/on sale, properly. I'm guessing that means the phyiscal copy will be out on June 27th. But The Saturdays have followed this rule since they released Issues really. They're obviously aiming for chart longetivety rather than a high peak, which is odd for a lead single but I can see why they want to do it. They don't want another 'Missing You' where it was only Top 40 for 6-7wks.
  4. The HQ version of the cover actually looks alright now... http://www.thesaturdaysdaily.org/gallery/d...&fullsize=1 http://cdn.umg3.net/thesaturdays/news-images/The_Saturdays_Notorious_Packshot_low-res_.jpg
  5. I like the clip. But the lyric content just seems a bit naff, so i'm a tad dissapointed at Ina. I like the sound so kudos to Steve Mac but it sounds like it needs to be a tad faster in time for the "I'm a bad bad girl, I'm a bad girl, I'm notorious" line in the chorus (presuming what Ness was singing was the chorus). The cover is naff and deffinately the worst one yet by far. The girls look stunning in the picture but it's the background and the re-styled logo and the Notorious font that throw the whole thing off. I think we may need a HQ version before laying this down to rest. What's going on with the release date? First it was 29th May, then 27th June, and now 22nd May?! Wait.. they're not gonna do the digital release 22nd May and then the physical release 27th June are they? That could be a possible answer. That Amazon page also confirms that they are now on Polydor/Geffen, may Polydors sub-label Fascination R.I.P.
  6. CLIP!!!! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Notorious/dp/B004Z...;sr=1-1-catcorr

I'm sure Headlines will be back Top 100 at least after their 'What Goes on Tour' documentary airs in a week. :)
  8. I too am dissapointed, and I think the single could still have done well if it was released May 29th. No major competition now at all considering Flo Rida is already on iTunes at #1 with David Guetta now. The campaign has got off to a lousy and lazy start. They need to pick up the pace and step on it.
  9. Added all the listings and episode discriptions from the Ch4 website into the first post of the thread :)
  10. There's already a thread for this. http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=127222
  11. We still have reason to believe it's still going to radio mid-May. This is what they should have done. Week beginning 2nd May: - Release a picture a day for 5 days that's relevent to the campaign. For example, if someone gets arrested in the music video, then present a picture of handcuffs. It'll drum up attention and will make people guess why they're going to be significant in the campaign. Week beginning 9th May: - Do the week-long lyric reveal thing. That was good. + a 10 (or a 30) seccond clip Week beginning 16th May: - Send it to radios and get that premier! Week beggining 23rd May: - Do a flip dedicated to behind-the-scenes of the video but without including footage of the video or it being flimed. Just small interviews like what they did on set etc. Then after that tweet one still from the video a day. Week beggining 30th May: - Release the video and confirm all the release info, remixes, b-side etc Week beggining 06th June: - Release the video to a remix of the track (they usually do this) Week beggining 13th June: - Start the promotion. Week beggining 20th June: - Promotion Week beggining 27th June: - Release week and promotion!
  12. I think it's honestly a case of not enough people are interested so they're gonna have to put in more promotion therefore put more time into the campaign therefore push it back a month. I don't think they got Notorious trending on Twitter after the week of lyric reveals, and they struggled to find 2,500 'likes' on Facebook to unlock the next picture. So it does seem to make sence now.
  13. You'd of thought they'd know what they're doing. They always seem to mess up some how. It should be so simple, but they just lack certain creativity skills to kick-start campaigns. Look at Missing You, they just threw a countdown at us and the video afterwards. Their crew always seem to presume it will be a success and don't seem bothered about putting extra content into the build-up to make it special. The lyric reveals were nice, but then the back-stage video pics? That fell flat on it's face. It took them 2 days to get 2,500 likes when they have nearly 700,000 fans on Facebook. Where were the other 697,500? They need to drum up alot of interest out-side the fan-base. I know that obviously more people will become interested in it when people hear it (hopefully), but there is no hype outside the fan-base. They lack planning and building a good foundation in which a single can grow and thrive on. They get everything prepared to go, the video, the mastered version of the single, the press shots, the single cover, the b-side.. and then they push it back by a month. Of course no-one outside the fan-base will know it's been pushed back because it was never confirmed by their team officially, but by Kev a few weeks back who does a great job in feeding us bits of Sats info. I look forward to what they're going to tease us with next because for me personally, I'm not as excited as I was.
  14. Lol, well at least you understood what I meant, and didn't spend 5 minutes squirming at the screen trying to figure it out :P
  15. (Can you please check your sentences make sence before posting please?) Kev mentioned nothing on Twitter about the album being out in April. The plan could still go Notorious - 27th June, 2nd single - early September, Album - week after the 2nd single. That would also tie in with the supposed album singing on the 18th September.
  16. Obviously he has tarret cards and can see into the future <_<. Just nod and agree it's easier. Truth of the matter is we've heard no music what so ever so how people can judge it's future already is a mystery :).
  17. You are KIDDING me?
  18. I think it'll build up their TV presence very well. Just like they did Celeb Juice and Great British Hairdresser over the last week or two. It'll get everyone famila with them again. Not too worried at this point :)
  19. It's called 'What Goes on Tour' and here's the scheduelle. Ep 1 - May 14 - 10am - 10.20 Ep 2 - May 14 - 12pm - 12.20 Ep 3 - May 15 - 7.30am - 7.50 Ep 4 - May 15 - 10.20am - 10.40 Ep 5 - May 15 - 11.40am - 12
  20. I love the 'Depised by' bit! Nice idea!
  21. No. I was implying that even though they're not doing on air/on sale, the shorter the gap between us hearing it and them releasing it the better. A 2-3 week gap would be acceptable. I think that's where they've lost it a bit with previous singles such as Ego and Higher. They could have sold more if they hadn't of fannied about with breaks between the video premier and the actual release.
  22. Can I stress that they're not doing on air/on sale. The shorter the gap between us hearing the track and being able to download it, the better.
  23. Wikipedia falls flat on its face when coming to edit stuff - it's not user friendly at all. I'll show you some examples of wiki code using The Sats 'Higher' as an example: [[Higher]] - Hyperlinks the text to other wiki pages ''[[Higher]]'' - An italic hyperlink ''Higher'' - Makes text italic '''Higher''' - Makes text bold <ref>Insert URL here</ref> - Inserting refrences to back-up what your saying so wiki don't revert it back
  24. Can you believe it? I just editted it all of the Headlines era and 4th Studio Album era and they reverted it back to how it was before! Unbelievable! Luckily I had saved a copy! :o They changed that back to the crap that was on there before! Unbelievable.
  25. I don't unfortunately - back to the drawing board! Are you from PopJustice too by the way?
