I think this is a good song probably not fair for people to say he is Disney just because he is a teenager. He is a great singer way better than the vile thing that won X Factor.

Surely the clearout of all these old tracks has to begin soon.

I don't think any one song can be described as 'song of the decade' there are too many to choose from and no one would ever agree. I think people stating what are their ten best songs of the decade would give a better perception.

They have ruined riverside with that remix I think I'll stick to the main version.

iTunes are useless, I'm suprised record companies are not intervening to get this problem solved.

seriously get watching Survivor it is without a doubt my favourite tv show of the decade it is going into it's 20th season in the US and has no signs of stopping.

I honestly don't hate them as people they are nice guys, I think dissapointed is more the word I would use. I expected so much more from them after x factor, now all they appeal to is little girls who are inti cheesy music. I find it very difficult to enjoy the music they have released. I think the I'm a Celeb comment is fair, blue and even take that members have done those type if shows so I'm pretty sure JLS will be on them in time if they don't drastically change their musical direction.

This JLS should have been the winner crap is really annoying is the poster who first stated that louie walsh in disguise because we know he liked to mention that all year. JLS are not the real winners they lost in votes plain and simple. On the X Factor final Alex made them look like back up dancers and singers and wiped them off the stage. Yeh they may have sold more albums but when they are in a market with no competitors and Alex has at least ten strong competitors they really cannot be compared. Plus Alex has really set herself up to be a singles artist which proves people outside her fan base enjoyed bad boys they probably just need to see the mire diverse side of her and not just up tempos to buy the album and I think 'The Silence' may do that. JLS are clearly just striking while the iron is hot they are rush releasing a new album in November and have two tours next year, not exactly developing as artists are they? Good luck to them though enjoy it while it lasts before they become z listers on I'm a celeb.

Think it may be a z list affair. Who really wants to see Alex Reid, I honestly don't see why anyone would pay to get him in there he is not a celebrity.

Nicki Minaj Is going to outshine him but people are saying he may do a million in his first week.

I would have thought the reasoning would be obvious. As I stated in one of my previous posts Alexandra performed 'The Silence' on Paul O' Grady and if I hadn't had bought the album by that point then I would have, another performance of Bad Boys would not have made me do this. All acts do this to promote their album, Michael Buble on X Factor, Gaga on the Royal Variety. It therefore suggests there are one of two problems either the rest of the tracks on JLS album are not good enough for prime time tv or their management are not very clever. I think it is the former. To me they have ruined my perception of what I thought their fan base was going to be. On X Factor they appeared to be very original in the audition stages, this of course went downhill when Louie tried to make them into Westlife. However, when they got signed I was optimistic that they would be a cool new urban band that would appeal to the 16-30 age range [which I think Alexandra does], instead they ruined it by trying to become a cheesy terrible boyband. I don't even think Marvin is good looking he permanently has a glazed over look on his face. Their looks are all that is getting them through in part my cousin said yesterday at Christmas the only reason she got their album and is going to see them on tour is that they are 'fit'.

Yeh exactly that was before she became a judge, now she is not allowed to promote her own material on SCD. It will all be to do with tv politics, itv will have a deal with sony that gets their acts promoted on top shows due to the x factor connection. You only had to have watched the ant and dec show and the one of after it to see the influence Simon Cowell has on the channel.

How many is she releasing from the album?

They are the best channel but Big Brother is their main source of income, there is no other show on C4 that gets that sort of income. All stations have their cash cow.

I do like the BBC they are not as rammed down your throats as ITV are. CH4 are going to struggle without Big Brother I can't see what is going to replace that. The only thing saving them is Come Dine With Me but I guess I should discuss that in the TV forum ha.

I think you have missed the point, people are not asking them to promote 'One Shot' this early but as their album is selling so well do you not think it would be a good idea to perform something other than EIL in order to sell more copies of the album? Alexandra performed 'The Silence' on Paul O Grady and I am pretty sure that would have drawn in more buyers. Performing EIL yet again is not going to sell the album and the song has been to number one and peaked in sales range so the promotion is not really going to do anything. Ne-yo and Red One would never give them decent songs as they know it won't reach the US market. A 'Russian Roulette' or 'Just Dance' would never be given to JLS by a top US based producer.

To be honest no one is coming in here and just stating 'JLS are crap' they are giving reasons and stating their opinion of their awful constant promotion of the same song. There is a thread for only chart updates so if you don't want to read any opinions or debate go there. No one underestimated them it was obvious they would sell alot, as for longevity as good as Robbies, PLEASE.

I was watching Ant and Decs show and the one on after it tonight and both of them had heavy portions of their show dedicated to the X factor. It really annoys me I don't watch these shows to have Alexandra Burke and JLS rammed in my face at every opportunity and Amanda and Piers creaming over how amazing Simon Cowell is. If only ITV was paid for by the license fee payers then we wouldn't have to put up with this crap, heck Alesha Dickson was not even allowed to perform her single on SCD if only this rule was applied for every ITV show.

The promotion of Earthquake was appaling I think I saw it once on GMTV wheras Remedy was everywhere. It seems if you are not X factor related or The Saturdays your promotion for third or fourth singles is non existent. JLS have a very short shelf life, I think people will look back in five years and think why did I like them. When N dubz criticse you then you know that you are crap.
