  1. There was no debate to be had, I nowhere in my posts said that joe did not deserve number one or deserve a record deal and you took what I said out of context in order to call me spiteful. I think I'm just going to go and buy RATM different versions on iTunes just to prevent joe getting to number one and having people like you claiming victory.
  2. Mr lovett every post I make you continue to act like I am not entitled to an opinion and you are always correct and once again you have taken out of context what I have said in order to attack me. My original post stated that by winning x factor joe is not entitled automatically to a number one and many x factor fans have stated that he is. Nowhere in my post did I say he did not deserve a number one if he gets to number one then he does but he is not automatically entitled to it just by winning the x factor. I have nowhere in my post bashed joe either I personally do not have a problem with him. My post stated that he should be lucky he has got a record deal at all and be glad if he gets a number 2 as there are many people who cannot even get a record deal, nowhere in my post did I state that he did not deserve a record deal so I do not see how I am being spiteful. Please refrain from attempting to entice an argument from me in the future because no one wants to read it, I already have two warnings due to you and I do not want another one so can you please stop the harassment.
  3. This is where people have lost their minds how Is it a horrible thing to do to an eighteen year old he does not have the right for the number one he should be bloody glad he has got a record deal at all. I also don't understand how people in this thread could not have heard of RATM, I'm not familiar with their music but I am not that one dimensional in my music knowledge that I am not aware acts that are popular in various genres.

I honestly do believe there should be separate prisons for people who commit petty crimes like robbery without being violent or fraud. These people can be rehabilitated if given the correct guidance. However people like tobin, ian huntly and that vile vannessa George women should all be put in prisons under the most grotesque conditions and should have to live a horrible life for the crimes they have committed. I can't imagine how bad it must have been when that girl was buried alive under floorboards, the thought doesn't even bare thinking about.
  5. Several points from this thread: RATM song was played in many student clubs when I was at Uni, I just never knew what the song was or who it was by butupon hearing it due to this campaign I recognised it instantly. Joe will never be playing to crowds if 60,000 people on his own tour so please do not delude yourself. It has taken someone like Pink ten years to be able to play stadiums. Now I can't tell the future but I am pretty sure that Joe is not going to be selling records in ten years time let alone filling stadiums. Finally, Joe has really flopped going by X factor standards. Alex, Leona, Shayne have all topped his first week sales and had 5 million less viewers. Around 8.3% of people who voted for Joe have bought the single this week, that is a p*** poor figure. Also the RATM campaign has given this x factor winner more exposure than ever and he is still going to struggle to sell 500,000 this week. It shows he is less talented and people have already lost interest.

How can peter tobin be rehabilitated when he can't even admit to the crimes he has committed. There are many people out their who may never know what happened to their children as this man refuses to discuss anything about his crimes.
  7. I don't think people dislike the song as it is from a Disney movie. There are plenty of Disney songs I like. The reason I hate the climb is due to the fact it is quite possibly the worst song released this year to make the top 10. I can safely say I would never willingly listen to that song.
  8. I think Simon cowell should be kept as far away from politics as possible. I have honestly had enough of this man and his smug face. I think we should all just give up now and let Simon cowell run the country as that is clearly what the majority of the public would like. As for max Clifford can someone please get rid of this cretin I loathe him more than cowell if that is possible.

What bothers me is the fact he was let out of prison after his ten year sentence for rape as far as I am concerned that was way too lenient of a sentence, they were clearly aware what this man was capable of if he was put away for that long initially. It really is quite disturbing how many murders this man has potentially commited. I definetely do not agree with the death penalty why should these murderers get off the easy way. Although they should live in much worse conditions than the cosy life in prison.
  10. Does anyone think that people are now buying RATM as they have heard it and liked it. I know that is the case with me I had no itentions of buying it until I heard it.
  11. I'm pretty sure Simon Cowell is not a billionaire.
  12. Sorry was just counting the amount of grammies Beyonce has won and the ten nominations she has this year. The majority of the public do dislike Cheryl Cole, it is her stans that are deluded. It wasn't a bar brawl she attacked a toilet attendant and was found guilty. Chris Brown had emotions involved human emotions. Cheryls attack was according to the court of law unprovoked and alcohol fuelled.
  13. No I'm not claiming that Mr Lovett suggested Beyonce gets hate but I said she is generally liked by the public. Whereas Cheryl has hate. Why do people on here have to twist the context of a coversation.
  14. Actually it is not irrelevant to the charts at all. Chris Brown was convicted of a similar charge and has faced the consequences and he gets alot of hate on here. His album has flopped everywhere upon release. Yet this board is so blinded by their love for Cheryl Cole and thinking she is a 'National Treasure'. It is very hypocritical to bash Chris Brown yet praise Cheryl. The delusion from some people saying Cheryl is loved by everyone is remarkable.
  15. They were going to be number one without XF I just checked the threads and all XF related acts were the only thing ahead of them on itunes. Gaga was only behind Rihanna on iTunes before she performed on XF. Rihanna also performed on XF hence Gaga would be number 1 without XF. The public do like Beyonce and think she is generally nice. Many critics including Britains awarded best tv critic call her Biffa Cole and yeh she was not cleared of assault she has a criminal record which everyone seems to forget. All I hear these days is how sick people are of Cheryl in a few months it will be evident.
  16. Once again like you have done before you have completely disregarded the context of the argument the poster prior to me stated that the X Factor was getting acts to number one. I think you might find that WITHOUT THE X FACTOR EXISTING Leona would not be around. BEP were number one just prior to X Factor. Lady Gaga sold 50,000 singles in the week prior tO X Factor the only thing that sold more than her was Peter Kay who sold 56,000 singles this week. It would have been a very tight battle. PRIOR TO XF PERFORMANCE: http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/263/itunesuk200912052315.jpg Rihanna performed on X Factor as a result Gaga would have been number 1 without XF. Either way to state BEP and Lady Gaga got success with these singles is plain wrong. Have you not seen the amount of hate groups for her on FB. A vast amount of the media refer to her as Biffa Cole. Her singles and albums are selling well as she gets 15 million people watching her every week. She is by no means successful on her talent. I refer to the following article for her conviction. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/3207822.stm
  17. BEP were going to number that week without X Factor their only competition was Leona. Lady Gaga was increasing week on week until X Factor. Without X Factor this week she would also have been Christmas number one. I hate the what if there was no X Factor arguments but BEP and Lady Gaga are the biggest acts of the year they certainly did not need X Factor to get a number one single. Cheryl is untalented and the public is getting sick of her. She can't sing a note in tune and she is a convicted thug.
  18. Alex had a great song. Cheryl is completely awful and untalented. JLS was an awful number one. You Are Not Alone was an insult to the memory of MJ, I hope after this flop charity record they scrap this for next year. BEP and Gaga would have probably gone to the top anyway without X Factor. People are always going to be annoyed by X factor and I think it is fair enough. Great news I heard today everyone Simon has signed the awful Olly with a first single out in April to 'test the waters'.
  19. The show will get axed when Simon decides, the ratings won't decide this. Even if the show did get axed another similar show would be on ITV within a year with Simon behind the helm.
  20. Why exactly are people in this thread asking if RATM is going to be DQ by the OCC, of course it is bloody not. Lol at the poster saying people at their school listen to Lady Gaga, Iyaz and BEP and are therefore diverse. They are the same genre. POP. I tend to agree with the poster who stated age plays a factor in the significance of this chart battle but not musical tastes anyone can listen to anything at any age. However, you can't state you have a wide range of musical knowledge if you state Leona and Alexandra as your 'RnB' musical tastes. And for the younger people in here by younger I mean 18 and below you really can't comment as to why people get so mad about the Christmas number one being stolen every year by an X Factor act as you would have been 13 when the first one topped the charts. The Christmas number one used to be a HUGE thing there was so much betting and pretty much everyone used to tune into radio 1 to listen to who it was going to be. Pre X Factor I can remember every Christmas number one and the epic chart battles. The last one was Mad World V. The Darkness, both of these songs were not to my liking but it was a great chart battle. Then there was of course the year Mr Blobby beat Take That, I remember everyone couldn't believe that. Anyway, there is only a small number of people in this country that give a $h!t about the charts and I think they have the right to be mad that Simon Cowell has ruined the Christmas fun. Also I think it is pretty evident that the outrage wouldn't be half as much if they put effort and released something decent instead of terrible covers year after year.
  21. Right Now: 600,000+ Feels So Good: 600,000+ Ladies Night: 300,000+ Greatest Hits: 100,000+ Whole Again: 934600 Eternal Flame: 400000 It's OK: 200000 The Tide Is High (Get The Feeling): 400000 There is literally no other information available I will have a look though. Atomic Kitten were pretty massive for a few years.
  22. I'm pretty sure there is something going on there in relation to the TV show airing tonight. All I know is that it is on Fox in the US and maybe they have contacted Cowell to not steal their thunder by having Joe release it.
  23. Leona sold around 500k if I remember correctly.
  24. Actually, I got my figures from a poll that was done nationwide last week which stated that 60% of Joe voters were in the 60+ range.
  25. Yeh someone in this thread said now Joe fans can see the competition they will buy it twice.
