Jedward are vile

I felt that this topic was necessary due to the announcement of a Jedward and Haiti charity single. Many people will suggest that I am moaning as the charts are not that important and they do not affect my life negatively in any way. You are right the charts are not that important to my life considering what is going on in other countries like Haiti. However, music is important to my life and has been for many years. I feel that Simon Cowell has completely destroyed the UK music scene like a cancer. Robson and Jerome was stage one which many people put up with due to the fact they were not overexposed, from what I can remember, and the fact we never had to put up with Simon Cowell's face when they released singles. I now feel that the cancer has reached its aggressive most angry stage and in a couple of years time he will have destroyed the UK music scene all together. 2010 brought a new beginning and everyone was positive as RATM beat the terrible Joe McElderry to number one. We started off the year with Gaga and IYAZ getting to number one which was such a massive improvement on the dire music we have had to put up with from Simon Cowell since October. I naively thought we would be Cowell free until October until last nights National TV Awards [which btw were a complete joke]. Why exactly were Jedward given a primetime tv slot embarassing the nation even further when they were never actually popular whilst on the X Factor. Before anyone argues this look at voting stats they were always near the bottom and their popularity was a media built Simon Cowell driven excercise to manipulate the public. Their song is absoultely dire and will no doubt be number one for weeks until the money making Simon Cowell cash in charity record. There are many of you on here who will buy this vile Jedward song and before you do I consider you think about your decision. You are further lining the pockets of a horrible man who controls the UK media and is attempting to control the US media and a pair of untalented useless twins who can't sing a note in tune. I also ask you to reconsider buying this charity record at 3.99 as the majority of this money will not go to charity. Spend your donations on Haiti from the many legitimate charities around. Anyway, I look forward to the great music that will come out this year and the many gigs I will be going to none of which will line a vile man's pockets.

They had to practically beg Beyonce to duet with Alexandra on X Factor. She only ended up doing the duet once she heard Alexandra sing. Beyonce is the biggest female star around she won't be on a charity record with the likes of Jedward and Joe. If anyone thinks she would be then they need to think again.

Beyonce will not be on this she is too high class to be on a single with a bunch of non entity singers from the UK. Gaga also has a busy schedule, has had to cancel several concerts due to exhaustion. Do you really think she is going to have time to be a part of this considering she has already done her part for Haiti. It is completely fabricated by the media in order to draw attention.

The o2 arena clearly does not work for this event. Dermot was a terrible choice of presenter, I felt like I was watching the X Factor. Loved that Corrie mentioned Blanche in their acceptance speech. How vile.

Lil Wayne has a new album out in February.

It's vile that it will be passed off as a charity record when Simon Cowell will make money from it. I also don't see how a single of SYCO acts can be anything other than vile.

Enjoy this before 2010 becomes the year that music would rather forget. Jedward, Haiti 'charity' record, Diana Vickers, Joe, Olly, More X Factor charity singles. The UK charts is going to be DIRE from 31 January onwards.
