I don't really see how they are wasting money. They are most likely going to have a tour at some point even if it is small venues. Polydor have already confirmed that there will be a third album. They have also confirmed that 'Here Standing' is going to be released next so I think the record company believe that they will not have a loss releasing it. They are most likely more aware of their own finances than you are. I doubt the next single would flop they have yet to have a flop single even Work has sold well. You are so negative.

It is clear where things went wrong. Yeh the first single wasn't strong enough but I don't think that can really be regarded as the reason the album sold poorly as Ego has not helped it either. The first error was releasing it in October, that period of the year is overcrowded with Christmas acts and even huge stars struggle to get huge sales like Rihanna for example. They also never had the huge exposure that they had an album out like many acts did on X Factor this year. Further reasons include the fact that chasing lights was on sale everywhere if you have the choice between two of their albums you will get the one with the most singles. They had a huge tour and a great response at festivals so they are clearly liked we shall see how the album sells over the next few months.

They have invested a heck of a lot of money in The Saturdays just to drop them. They would lose more money dropping them now than finishing out the campaign.

What is the other option though? Drop them? Could they really justify that?

I think most physicals are bought online anyway when it is not a big x factor or charity single. I don't get the hype about Owl City to me the track is extremely dull. It is bizzare that Florence is getting all this attention now when these songs have been everywhere for months.
