All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
I think we should be really happy with how the day has gone. Sure Pixie has overtaken them now but we've got all the way to Saturday night until this race is over. Lot's of people counted them out before this week but they are definitely in the race. I think they should definitely have their best single week in terms of sales

When are they on Alan Titchmarsh?

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
I think those predicting that the Saturdays are front loaded and will fall dramatically in the week should remember that Pixie's last no.1 (Boy's & Girl's) did the exact same when it was released. Not to say that just because it happened then it will happen now to AAT but lots are comparing AFU to Missing You.

It's a tweet I found off another forum

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
It's very frustrating that on the biggest shows of the year (BGT, ROB and The X Factor) they just keep recycling the same guests such as JLS, Pixie, Jessie J. I can understand Pixie and Jessie maybe as they have recent singles. What the hell are JLS promoting though? <_< It's annoying for 'The Saturdays' but what can we do? lol

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Even if Leona does outpeak them, I wouldn't be surprised if AFU sold more in the long term. As 2ndAdventure said radio hasn't jumped on 'Collide', play might be picking up now. But for an artist of Leona's stature is not where it should be. But performing on 'Red or Black' should give her an early boost. Does anybody know what Pixie's promotional schedule is like?

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
I can't believe that there is only one week until this is released  I think it's still rising now on radio but if you compare it to Pixie then something obviously has gone wrong. It looks like they are going into Radio One tomorrow morning though so it looks like they've realised they need to do something. But I'm positive about the release and hope they can get into the top 3.

I know compare my radio is not accurate but it just gives a better impression of the competition when compared to their rivals and atm it's Pixie's No.1 to lose

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Just a quick update on the 'comparemyradio' plays for The Sats main competition The Saturdays - 710 + 86(A version of AFU posted under 'Saturdays') = 796 Leona Lewis - 334 Pixie Lott - 2,206

Pixie has definitely got the No.1 in the bag for the release week. Her single preorder is already 75 on the itunes albums chart. I don't think The Sats have even been in the top 200 since it was available to pre order  But I'm not really worried. If Notorious got to No.8 in it's first week with no airplay and one performance then AFU should do much better. ^_^ I like the video as well

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
Just some more news. It looks like they're in the studio with 'Quiz and Larossi'. The producers of 'Up' So it looks like Ina has written or co-written this song. Exciting :yahoo:

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Yay! I'm glad it's just one big teaser instead of just 5 small teasers like they did for 'Notorious'

I'm so happy they've worked with Lucie Silvas. 'What Your Made Of' is one of my favorite songs of the 00's. and we know they are in the studio today This is the guys website http://www.officialangel.co.uk/ but apart from that I'm clueless about to what he's done ^_^ but that tweet is kinda vague, maybe it's not even connected :P

Some more names to add to the list The Alias were involved in the B-side 'Not That Kinda Girl' That's Jaz Rogers and Chris Young. I couldn't find much of their past work but Jaz Rogers has written a couple of Deltra Goodrem tracks. Chris Young wrote/produced 'Behind Bars' for 'The Wanted' and worked on 'Fast Car' by Naime Amuro Lucie Silvas had some success around 2004 with tracks 'What You're Made of' and 'Breathe In' and Charlie Holmes was the producer of 'Died In Your Eyes'

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Hopefully the video won't follow the trend of Missing You, Higher and Notorious of them walking around a place (Island, Street and office) and ending up at a party. I'm hoping for a really great storyline kind of video with a dance routine, maybe something like a heist? Don't worry I'm already preparing myself for when this won't happen :P

Capital FM seem to be loving this song  It's a good early sign. I think this will go in third behind Pixie/Leona but stick around for ages and be one of their best selling singles

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
I love just playing this song on repeat! Una's part of the song is amazing  and I thought this was interesting concerning the competition against Pixie and Leona as even though Leona's premiered a week earlier AFU has managed to get played more on radio according to comparemyradio.com, 45 to Leona's 43 but Pixie is crushing them both on 291 lol

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
The clip is okay, very repetitive though  Here's a press release about the new singl which tells us who was involved in the song

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
haha yeah I suppose. It was nice coming back last week to 'Collide'. But i'll be 10 times more excited for this! :yahoo:

STFU! That's two premiers of new songs that are premiering on consecutive weeks on Scott Mills show when I'm at work!

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Something would seriously have to go wrong to stop this going top 10. When doing OA/OS they managed to get to no.8 and then JCGE, FIO and MY all went top 3 with the traditional method of radio play. But saying that they've managed to pick an awful week to release with lot's of competition making comebacks. I just really want to hear this now

I guess it's just been finally mixed/mastered? (lol at my lack of music knowledge) I hope we hear it soon!

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
These are a few days old but Una tweeted she was in the studio again! Tim Powell was one of the main writer/producers at xenomania and Britt Burton was one of the writers of Puppet! After some more searching I found a website with info about future song releases involving Britt Burton. This might or might not be the song recently written Source

Name the Album!
'On The Run' could go with the criminal theme we all seem to be going for  But I bet they'll go with something totally opposite like 'Sunshine and Flowers' or whatever :P
