Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
I'd be more worried about Parade then The Saturdays. In no way has this flopped. Underperformed? Maybe . .

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
I thought it was interesting that The Wanted's management asked their label not to do 'OA/OS' for 'Glad You Came'. Hopefully the label will not make the same mistake twice with the Sats. I think they've managed to just get away with it this time but it's not been a roaring success. It could be because of OA/OS or because the song is just not very good imo

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
What a total waste of 99p on that Chipmunk remix. It's horrible and I'm never going to listen to it again

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
Hopefully it's just an error on the official website as they are still down on the radio times website as performing

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
Hmm there might be a new remix on the horizon with Chipmunk  Or maybe he's talking about 'All Fired Up?' Source - MTV Chipmunk Blog

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
It's fallen on both radio and TV airplay

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
Okay thanks. I think it's a possibility that Chris Braide and James Fauntleroy worked on the track at least according to this website Source and they've also got an interview with Chris Braide where he talks about working with The Saturdays (This interview was pre-Headlines)

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
Here's some questions about the new album from a new interview. Nothing new really revealed except maybe for the man bashing bit. Source and do we know who was involved in 'Turn Myself in'? Notorious - Steve Mac, Ina Wroldsen All Fired Up - Space Cowboy, Brian Higgins, Tim Deal White Lies - Carl Falk, Rami Yacoub, Ina Wroldsen Turn Myself In - ????

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
I know it's unlikely but wouldn't it be funny if they managed to get a number one album before a number single with this campaign?

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
It's a really smart move lowering the price for this week  Just shows how cheap some people are though lol

Notorious - 10th Single - 22 May 2011
Okay just comparing Parade and The Sats (Why Not? :P ) and it seems 'Louder' and 'Notorious' have had very similar chart runs Louder went 10-25-32-OUT with Notorious going 8-21-33- BUT The Saturdays started off with no airplay and have not started the main bulk of their promotion yet ^_^ I doubt it's going to stay top 40 this week tbh I think it will just msis out but then rebound back in the week after

Notorious - 10th Single - 22 May 2011
I know this isn't the exact place to ask but it's kind of relevant lol but what were Parade's sales for 'Louder'? it would just be interesting to compare the two

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
I'm excited to hear this, in my mind it's going to be a massive hybrid of Lady Gaga, Kylie and Girl's Aloud lol It will be interesting to see if they go for OA/OS depending on how Notorious finishes.

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
They must be confident in the song. It's only being finished today!

Notorious - 10th Single - 22 May 2011
5 remixes are being released to itunes on the 19th June. Hopefully that can help it stay top 40 until they start the promo -_-

Notorious - 10th Single - 22 May 2011

Notorious - 10th Single - 22 May 2011
I think another song we can compare this too right now would TEOG by Lady Gaga. Both managed to get mid to low places in the top 10 on their initial releases and now both seem to be falling while the airplay builds. The Sat's have an advantage with their video already being out but both will rise once they start promoting. But looking at iTunes I'd rather they started sooner then later

Notorious - 10th Single - 22 May 2011
I wonder if this will go A List on Radio one's playlist next week. I think thats when they should continue their promo.

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
I've just been reading some of Tim Deal's tweets and it sounds like he's involved with the second single. He keep mention 'A.F.U', maybe a clue to the songs name? It also seems like Una and Vanessa are more involved with this song then the others I'm not sure if this last tweet is relevant to the sats but they have been working with both Tim Deal and Space Cowboy and one more tweet to the millions I've already posted won't hurt right? :P

Notorious - 10th Single - 22 May 2011
I like both bands but tbh 'the 'babes' need it a lot more then 'The Sats. They've got a major uphill battle to get people to take to 4.0. But it's great they managed to get top 10. With the rate it was dropping I was concerned it wasn't going to make it but it did! :cheer: I think this can easily become their best selling 'first single' from an album (But that's not hard tbh lol)

Notorious - 10th Single - 22 May 2011
Here's a link to 'On set with The Saturdays' as they went about and made Notorious. It was on mtv so not everyone (Including me! :P) would have the opportunity to watch it On Set With The Saturdays
-
Notorious - 10th Single - 22 May 2011
I agree. To me it still feels like the start of this single campaign. It would be nice for it to debut in the top 10 this week.

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
Here's an interview the girls have done with Digitalspy. I've just cut it down to questions about the new album though Source

Notorious - 10th Single - 22 May 2011
I was so proud of the girls watching that SYTYCD performance. The vocals and dance routine were amazing! It's great that Notorious has already managed to crack the itunes top 10 (Still can't believe that Ego and Higher sold that much without ever making the itunes top 10) I expect this will debut low top 10/high teens and then fall and then steadily rise again as radio and video airplay increase and then they should continue promoting.

Notorious - 10th Single - 22 May 2011
I doubt Gaga will be much a problem as lots of people will use the 'Complete my album' part of itunes. (Didn't that result in having Taylor Swift having negative sales one week in the US when her album was released?) It's difficult to predict where this will debut as it's all so new. and Ness has some fierce swag in the teaser! :P
