There's no way on planet earth that is going to win with a 50% jury vote. It may well win the televote, but the juries will kill it's chances.

Spaceman ended up doing relatively well due to the success at Eurovision and the resulting publicity. It remains to be seen how Mae does, although radio (especially Capital) already seem to be on board. I think 'Tattoo' by Loreen may well end up being the biggest Eurovision hit.

The re-emergence of CD singles
For some acts, it could mean their only shot at getting a top40 hit. For example, Kylie will be releasing a new single in the next few months and, regardless of quality, she is unlikely to hit top40 based on streams only. I hope her label go all out - give us cd1, cd2, 7", 12", cassette - she has enough fans who will snap them up and give her a week top40. Of course, it's all a bit pointless BUT it looks good for her discography.

Not necessarily an extra 3k sales for Shania, you can buy a ticket without needing to buy a copy of the album.

Judging by those pictures of him in a nightclub with a random woman, he's generally pretty happy with any position he gets.

That feels an incredibly low number of sales for Stormzy!

With Spiceworld, only the picture disc is available on Amazon of the vinyl releases, which is a shame. I would quite like the double lp, but not so much I want to pay ridiculous postage fees.

To be fair to him, it is a CD, DVD and a signed print.

Amazed that Kylies impossible princess is at No37, thought for sure it would be nowhere near the top 100 or 200 even.

No6 is on 3k and No10 on 1,527 so IP will highly likely get a new peak in the UK. Those are pretty astonishing sales for a vinyl re-release.

 I think it's a vinyl reissue. It keeps popping up on my Amazon, for some unknown reason.

I mean I know only a tiny percentage of his 42 million Spotify listeners will be in the UK, but Charlie Puth only on track to sell roughly 3k week one is a shocking underperformance. Brilliant sales for the No1 album. EasyLife nowhere near, but no2 a decent result for another grear album.

I was thinking that looked a bit disappointing for Bjork, but then her last top 10 album was 2007. I tried listening to her new one on Spotify, it just leaves me completely cold.

I thought the end was coming for 5SOS, and I'm more confident seeing this, their fanbase has just disappeared. It's actually a decent album, albeit 5 songs too many.

I see the Robbie Williams double LP has been reduced from 28 to 22 pounds on Amazon, which has prompted me to buy it.

Perhaps I just overestimate her popularity but given the massive hype, airplay and general coverage for Lizzo, I find it bizarre how poor her album sales are.

I was expecting a bit higher than that for Alfie templeman tbh, no14 seems a bit low. Given he's over 3 million Spotify listeners, I thought he'd have good streaming figures. Great album.

Delighted to see Reef so high, even if it is likely to have a hefty drop. It's a great release from them.
