Weird that the Vamps shifted hundreds of signed personalised albums yesterday, but have only a negligible increase on the charts. Maybe it's still to come? I still reckon they will end up top 100 by Friday.

I was very confident Kylie would win comfortably, but now I'm much less so. I actually think the majority of the public are even aware of Kylies singles or the albums release, her and her label really need to pull their finger out. A global livestream is going to be for fans only, and Graham Norton is a great slot, but it's not enough. I would expect her to perform at some stage of the week on the one show, but not sure she will get the coveted strictly slot due to Graham. But we shall see. I'm predicting 50k openings for both of them, roughly.

Dollys midweek positions are bizarre - no28 Monday, no16 Tuesday and no23 today.

I think Kylie should manage the no1. She really does need to get off her arse and promote though, even a performance on the one show ala Steps would be better than nowt. 'Magic' is definitely a song which can help sell an album, but it's not much use if people haven't heard it. I appreciate as a cancer survivor she has to be doubly careful during this pandemic, but I hope she can get herself out there a bit.

That is actually a REALLY intriguing chart battle. I think I'll wait until Kylies 2nd single before I decide who will win.

Declan has retweeted a tweet today which says he is 282 sales behind Rolling stones :( I really hope he gets no1. Great album.

I am so chuffed for Declan, not only does he seem like such a nice guy but the album is superb, definitely one of my favourite releases of the year. Hope he can hold on to the top spot, I might buy a vinyl copy to help.

Pretty shocked that Alex Benjamin isn't going to get a top 40 album, especially when sales are so low. I thought he had a fairly decent fanbase in the UK- certainly enough to sell 3k albums.

Thrilled to see Vistas at no11. Such a perfect indie pop album, it's almost a shame they aren't better known as I know so many people would love their music. Hopefully their time will come. I actually thought Alec Benjamin was more popular than his album probably barely selling 2k in a week? He is someone I've played a lot on Spotify over the last couple of years. Mind you, I don't think this is a great album. Some nice singles, but nothing as strong as 'boy in the bubble' and some of his earlier songs.

Really intrigued to see how Louise does with her new album. She's had multiple formats, and a smallish but dedicated fanbase that will have spent big. I wouldn't be surprised to see her about no6 in the first midweeks but also wouldn't be shocked if it was no16.

Exactly Rainbow vinyl Clear vinyl Black vinyl Deluxe cd Standard cd Cassette Kylie had the same amount of formats when she released last year and did 48k week one, so Madonna perhaps scraping 30k isn't exactly amazing.

Think 20k is pretty underwhelming for Madonna tbh.

Gosh, didn't think I would see the day that A could still get a mention here! Great band, still amazing live!

Busted will hopefully have a decent boost in the next couple of days, they should hopefully be able to get to 16k. Whether that will be enough is anyones guess.

Have a feeling Busted will get the no1 album, their preorders were pretty strong.
