mmm... Great cast but it's missing one or two front runner names there. Nina West, Peppermint and Gigi Goode perhaps? Pearl? Jan might be asked early too. Also I'm sure they'll try to include at least one queen from the international versions. Divina de Campo, Cheryl Hole or/and maybe Jimbo (if she doesn't win CDR) spring to mind.

I agree, Golden had a pretty awful cover considering the much better pictures they had for that era. This one is ok, it's not high up there with Light Years, KM94, Impossible Princess, Aphrodite or Fever - but it's effective and impactful. Very excited for this era, her Golden Tour had a huge dose of Disco (that Locomotion version! :wub: ) so I've got high hopes for a big disco Kylie banger. No need for her to go down the Jessie Ware/Dua Lipa disco-inspired route, I think Kylie plays to her strengths the best when she fully embraces Kylie-mode and just goes for it. Fun Disco Kylie is what I want and it's what we'll have. Expecting Giorgio Moroder to have a couple credits there as well. :w00t:

Hey hey! Glad to see "Pame Pame" having some recognition here, it was quite the nice tune on BJSC! I'd rather she called the new album something space related like 'In Orbit', 'Supernova' or 'Celestial' just as a nod to the theme of 'Light Years'. Those snippets though - surely they must be hers - sound AMAZING and just what we need from Kylie. <3

Just got this beauty in vinyl as a b'day treat and I'm :wub: :wub: :wub:

His busking scene was so odd and out of place I can't help but wonder if he was invited to do the Song-Along but refused to take part if he didn't sing his own song. I actually enjoyed the movie far more than I anticipated. Some of the inconsistencies are hard to swallow (Eastern European hosts in a contest hosted by Edinburgh? The SSE Arena?? Voting in the Semi-Final???) and some of the comedy is just not funny (some scenes are overly long and there's no real pay-off) but it's still a charming little movie with some eye-catching numbers and truly memorable songs! I'd say it's a Will Ferrell musical rather than a comedy, a solid 3.5/5. Also Rachel McAdams is obviously great and she did an amazing job here but I wish he'd call on Kristen Wiig to play Sigrid, she would've elevated that role so much.
