Yeah I agree, Romania really felt like the shock DNQ last night. It literally had little to no impact on that running order and we were just scratching our heads about it. I don't see people voting for it at home. Had massive "qualifier vibes" from Sweden, Australia, Lithuania, Russia, Malta, Azerbaijan, Norway, Israel and Ukraine as those really stood out among the rest. On the grey area I had Ireland and Cyprus which the latter would lose out (but I still think their staging would've given them a lifeline). Romania would follow in 12th. Last place wise, I thought Croatia was a little lost in the middle there however as there are a few former Yugoslav republics in this Semi-Final, last place would've probably been Belgium. **looks at thread title** Long story short, I agree that Ireland would've made it by a whisker.

He did say he would NOT take part in Söngvakeppnin in 2021, but wouldn't say no to represent Iceland in Eurovision again if selected by RÚV. Hot Chip though, I squealed.

 This is so wholesome! It's so heartwarming seeing how our choices impacted someone's life in some way or another, makes me chuffed and proud being part of BJSC!

Nx0FSY0lMKo There was this dance cover of 'Slow' a few years back which I think it's absolutely gorgeous and a good tribute to the unsurpassable original.

Just listened to and voted on SF1 - what a strong Semifinal! Could've easily given points to 6 or 7 more songs!

Hey Nick, Loving the continued PCD slayage here! Can't wait for the next single as I'm growing a bit tired of "React" now, still a bop though ofc. And you should give "Black Valentine" a try again, it really didn't speak volumes to me at first but it's been a very slow burner - it's an absolute anthem here in the house and it's managed to find its way to the Top 10 for me this week. Mutya still relevant! Great chart!

I'm a big Jax Jones and Martin Solveig fan, and I loved their first single, but I just can't get into Tequila. :nocheer: Loving the Afrojack/Ally generic bop slayage though - it's climbed a fair bit for me this week, absolutely obsessed! That Deepest Blue rehash almost made my chart this week - it's just a bit uninspired isn't it? Great chart as usual!

Good to see Daði and The Roop climbing a fair bit! I hope they keep on that trajectory! also :cheer: at Goliath!

There's a lot to go through here, but good to see MADARA! Should've gone to Eurovision. I gave that Sunstroke Project song a listen, it's ok but nothing that really excites me - I need one of their absolute BANGERS to go through this year! haha

@1245438439505494016 I don't know if this has been posted around here yet, but every Saturday at 8pm Twitter gets together to watch a previous Eurovision together. So far they've done it for the 2013, 2006, 2009 and 2015 contests with the EBU making a Premiere of the last two on YouTube as they've joined and supported #EurovisionAgain. It's been the #1 trending topic in the UK, and it even hit #7 in the US; The Huffington Post UK have even written about it; Alexander Rybak and Daz Sampson(?) themselves annouced their respective contests; and last week it saw over £3600 being raised for charity. They've ran their own voting since the second weekend with Carola winning over Lordi, however "Fairytale" and "Heroes" have won their respective years. It's hands-down the most fun I've been having in isolation and a good replacement for the usual Eurovision festivities. I'm hoping it grows bigger and bigger so that we can get a semblance of a meaningful vote for the 2020 songs on May 16th! :cheer:

Ah yes must've been in sync then haha! X

Gigi definitely deserved that, she was through and through amazing there, really embodied the Madonna persona around the Papa Don't Preach era. Poor Jan, she's always been consistently on the top and her runways are always brilliant but she's having a Pandora Box run. She's definitely the "shock" early elimination (with Jackie being the 5th placed controversial exit). Gigi is running this show, surely we can't really have a surprise winner at this point?

I've actually sent you mine over half an hour ago - just checking you definitely received them? ;)

Oh no! Hope you're ok Rob! That was my nightmare scenario with this isolation thing so I can't imagine how it must be like... *hugs*

He did break the points record - if the old voting system were to be used, Portugal would've scored 417 points in the Final. Obviously Colm here simply halved the scores of the 2016-2019 finals so the accuracy is not 100%. Still refreshing to have a surprise winner here in Sweden 2015 tbh.
