  1. If anything this year just proved to all the contest is, indeed, political. There's no way around that now and the EBU is showing their asses. Major rehaul is needed for next year. I wonder what the agreement was to get the 5 or so countries that were threatening to withdraw on Friday back in the game.

So good to see 'Murder' on the R1 playlist in 2024! I hope labels take notice of this, especially after 'Dreams' and 'Running Up that Hill' (and even 'Perfect (Exceeder)' and 'Unwritten' right now) and invest more into promoting back catalogues when a song goes viral. No need to promote the same old DJ sample/interpolated dross when you can have the original classics hitting it big one more time.
  3. Actually 'Piano' from the Tension sessions is probably my least favourite thing I've ever heard her voice on (knowing full well it's only a demo), so I'm very glad they left that off the album.
  4. There was a little bit of everything - if you've seen most of her recent interviews you'll know all she talked about (her recording her own vocals, Padam going viral, etc) but it's still joyous and she was the main guest of the night. Also great interaction with the other guests she came across wonderfully. I'm unsure of the hair and makeup choices, they've gone for a more relaxed look, but perhaps it'll come across better on the broadcast? She walked in to Padam and she challenged Mawaan to do the choreo. Later on Graham brought up Tension and they played a bit of the music video!
  5. Anyway - she's was great at the Graham Norton show tonight. Watch out for her little dance to Mawaan Rizwan's I Got A New Walk - very funny!
  6. On my way to the BBC television centre for Graham Norton tonight So excited to see Kylie in person!!
  7. I had such a great experience yesterday. I got there at 6.30am so the queue wasn't massive yet. I got in the shop at around 10.40am and I was immediately overwhelmed. It didn't help that I had to be at my office at 11am so I was terribly late and had to rush through the shop experience - didn't even try the free rosé! - but the vibe was incredibly positive and it was great being a part of it. The people I met in the queue were lovely, and it's great to see how her career has touched so many people throughout the years. It was sad and infuriating seeing all the scalpers lodging themselves in the queue to get as much stock as they could, I didn't realise it was such an organised "gang" activity until yesterday. There was a chap right in front of me in the queue, he couldn't have been 20 yet and I was happy to see her music touching a new generation. Instead he joined his gang mates inside, got four copies of the clear vinyl, a test pressing and two lithographs and walked out. These type of events should be reserved for fans ONLY but I guess there's no way they can monitor who is and who isn't a fan. I got my clear vinyl and a test pressing (after hesitating if I should or not splurge on one!) and they gave me the signed print and all the goodies which was cute. Everyone from the staff was absolutely lovely, even the security guards which are typically so serious and humourless. Fantastic experience overall and such a great way of celebrating the album! <3 PS: I even got papped in the queue! (the one with the backpack) haha @1705495574382780770
  8. I'm on my way now! :cheer: Hope The Queue isn't too long yet!
  9. This is my favourite song of the week. Really solid follow-up to IWAS in my opinion 🤷🏼‍♂️
  10. I'm still gobsmacked that a Kylie single in 2023 is hitting over 14k chart sales on its 7 week of release! I know we all wanted it to go Top 5, then Top 3 and prayed for a #1 but to put it in perspective, 'Say Something' was in the top 100 only two weeks and not even consecutively! Couldn't be prouder of Kylie and 'Padam Padam'!
  11. I don't think Switzerland is at any danger. It would be 11/12 at worst. They've got France, Italy and Germany voting in the SF, maximum of 36 points available right there
  12. I can't find any details of the tracklist being announced however he is selling a jumper on his website with the tracklist on: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0104/2795...diebackcopy.jpg (too large to add as image)
  13. It seems I may have spoken out of turn... 👀
  14. Spaceman was also released two weeks prior to the announcement and it was 3:37 long. It's Birdy with 'Raincatcher', it's all but confirmed.
  15. xYmWLakvgIY The video sounds like this one but it's from 2006 and I doubt it'd still be playing in 2010-2013 after 'Stereo Love'
  16. Well I knew I lost touch with Buzzjack's musical tastes but was still hopeful for 'Gemini'... Message me again for Worldvision! x

Yes, I know, I should be part of her management team...
  20. I like 'Ghost', second best song of her career imo.

Where is SG Lewis on the album chart?? There's no way he's selling less on his first week than Måneskin on their second? I felt there was more interest in this album than his debut and that went to #46, could this be a mistake. Confusion

Girl, the two albums by themselves make no sense. I can't stand Unholy

I've seen posts saying they should've plucked some tracks of 'Love Goes' and this album and build a much stronger album overall: Love, Gloria 1. Diamonds 2. Love Me More 3. How Do You Sleep? 4. Lose You 5. Dancing With a Stranger (with Normani) 6. I'm Not Here to Make Friends (feat. Calvin Harris & Jessie Reyez) 7. Another One 8. Dance ('Til You Love Someone Else) 9. To Die For 10. Gimme (feat. Koffee & Jessie Reyez) Bonus Tracks if you really have to for the Deluxe or something 11. I'm Ready (with Demi Lovato) 12. Unholy (with Kim Petras) 13. My Oasis (with Burna Boy)
