  1. That was the best first episode of the series so far and one of the best episodes ever, hands down. The cast is stellar. A 9/10 episode only let down by that lipsync. Any other queen would've obliterated Dakota but Just May spent the whole time looking like a confused background vocalist that was suddenly pushed to the front of the stage and didn't know what to do. Black Peppa was perfect. Probably the strongest cast in all 4 seasons but I'm thinking she'll be streamrolling the competition Symone-style.

    What if she's timing the release of the album singles at the same time as each season starts? 2. Cuff It - Autumn - 23 Sep 3. ? - Winter - 21 Dec 4. ? - Spring - 20 Mar 5. Summer Renaissance - 21 June ?

They use the "lala-lala-laa" bit in 'Milkshake' but they sliced it and put them down in a different order on "Energy". It's fair Kelis doesn't have the rights but it's polite to ask regardless. Moreover, the sampled bit doesn't add anything to the song and could've just as easily been done from scratch without the need of a sample. So I totally get Kelis' point.
  4. I don't think there's any riggamorris here. Jinkx made it to the Finale based on her wins alone (and after being blocked twice even) and Trinity also (even if it came down to a tie-breaker). Jaida was given a star on Episode 5 so really she had two stars won under her belt. But regardless of all of this, the purpose of the season was to showcase all winners doing what they do best and it's done just that. This last episode is not to be taken that seriously, just look at the "Queen of She Had Already Had Hers" crown, it means nothing but someone will still win that. I think the real winner of this season is the viewers, we got to see these fabulous 8 winners again doing what they do best and some of them in a better light. It's not personal, it's drag.
  5. I saw the Tour last night in Verona and it was just MAGICAL. EVERY song just SHONE so bright, and the setting couldn't be more akin to the sound of the album being in a (very hot evening) in a Medieval castle. I will never forget last night. My boyfriend also proposed (earlier in the day) so it was an all kind of emotions day. She also sang Gotta love a redemption queen. Basically if you can go and see this Tour, do NOT hesitate!

  7. 2 points! So close to the elusive 0 pointer, bah! Ah well, there's always next year x
  8. Being away from BJSC for almost a year and coming back to SF1:
  9. Was considering a comeback but I've missed the deadline 🤣 Oops!

Very happy to have taken Ethiopia all the way to 3rd place (my best ever result here!) It was quite the challenge to find an entry and I'm thrilled Batisso struck a chord with a lot of yous. Great winner too, it was just outside my Top 10 :)
  11. Oh yes, for the Radio Edit of course. But he did write and produce the original version all by his lonesome. Of course the Radio Edit was the one on the charts...
  12. Isn't Daniel Bedingfield's 'Gotta Get Thru This' also famously self-penned and produced?
  13. Just sent in my votes! Good luck everyone!
  14. Still desperately trying to find a song. I found the PERFECT entry for this but the artist is Ethiopian only through her mother, was born in Saudi Arabia and is based in London! :( edit: Ok nvmd, just found something completely different and I'm very excited
  15. Oooh interesting!!
  16. I'll join this one with number 11 please :)
  17. I know she had about 75 singles out since late 2019 but I feel like they could still churn out one last single before the tour (and a cute promo single with a BTS video after the tour?) Do we think they might still release one last single or is this it for FN? I'd still release Pretty Please (end of Jan), If It Ain't Me (early April) and Cool (mid June) with Love is Religion to close out the era in Sep/Oct with that BTS tour video.
  18. But YAS at that clapback, on the money! These Ladbaby things are absolutely vile, every year. I pray that Adele brings out a huge Christmas anthem next year so it's Xmas #1 for the next 5 years. Ed & El's original was already a very poor Christmas offering, slapping a few sausage rolls lines on it doesn't make it any better. what a shame to have this as the xmas #1. Merry Christmas y'all!
  19. I went for Girl Overboard, but only because Control Of The Knife should've been the third single.
  20. All remaining dates postponed to May :(
  21. I've got tickets for the Sunday show in London which will be my first concert in a very very long time, nevermind the pandemic. Hoping she doesn't cancel the last few dates :(
  22. Tonight's Glasgow show has been cancelled after a member of her team has tested positive for covid-19. Bristol and London dates still hanging in the balance. :(

This song sounds like a bot wrote it based on a bundle of Katy Perry's innuendo-filled songs. I hate it. But it's so catchy. MY COCONUUUUUTS! :cheer:
  24. It fell off the iTunes top 100 so probably best we call it a 'promo' single. Always hard to break through all the Xmas songs at the time of the year. Perhaps 'No' or 'Between Us' will get a second lease of life in January when the charts are quieter [although I'm still hoping they'll put 'Cut You Off' out as a final single just before the tour].
