Hiya babes, Troubled Paradise is great! Clouds hasn't hit me yet but I'm sure I'll get round to it. Jessie and Harry are truly on top form. Can't wait to see what they come up with next. 'Fireworks' is a great bop! It kind of reminds me of "Million Voices" by Otto Knows but purely based on the children choir sample and nothing else haha! I can't say Aly & AJ's new one has left an impression on me yet but then again the same thing happened with the last two singles so I'm holding out on any judgement (though another Joan of Arc is much needed tbh) Thanks again for commenting as ever! I'm confused my the muted reaction to this song to be honest. I have a feeling if this were by Australia, Russia or Sweden it would've been praised to high heavens and toped the odds to win at this point.

I actually think this is bang-on what the UK needed to send to Eurovision, so I'm over the moon with this. It sounds British, it's modern, well-produced and his voice is perfect for it. My only note would be perhaps to change the bridge as the tone goes down after a higher verse and before the chorus which breaks the flow a little bit but that's only a small note. I think it'll do really well in the televote - people will be looking for an uptempo after all this time and it's very catchy, but I also think it'll be a jury sweetheart: firstly because the UK is overdue a good song so they'll surely would gravitate towards that (see Portugal in 2017 which I'm sure had that factored in); and also songs in this vein have done very well recently (Guy Sebastian, Cesar Sampson and John Lundvik spring to mind). They said the staging last year was impressive so I think they'll do something big for it again - can't see them just having James alone on stage with three trumpet players. Girls, I think we're in for a hit this year!

I fully predicted 'Alcohol You' to be the fan-wnk to flop at the semis last year - by the sounds of it this won't be much better. I'll reserve full judgement for when the song is out but it seems Romania is well into their 'dark ages'. Hoping I'm wrong though, a Eurovision in Bucharest sounds like (a very cheap) dream!

Hey bub Jessie Ware has been spot on this era. 'Remember' was just the perfect choice for this time of the year and it shows a different shade of the album. What a Queen! Yeah I'm getting the vibe that 'Listen' has had its time - they're churning out a new single soon though so it's all good. I love 'To The Beat' - incredibly Steps and whilst sounding a bit dated it sounds VERY 2012 which I hold fondly. It's been a win for me. Thanks again! xx

Hey babe - I think Gabriella was very lucky to hit #1 - there was no real top spot contender and she happened to be just there so she got it. I do think 'Golden' is his best single and then 'Watermelon Sugar' and then 'Adore You' but this one is very quirky and fun so it's doing rather well. Lana has benefitted from a week when I got 'Born To Die' on vinyl. It really reconnected me with her sound and made her reentry. Not expecting her to reach any dizzy heights though... Haha, I love how fiercely you love 'Lucid' but it's had an EXCELLENT run here - ten weeks on and two at the top, it's only naturally she's making her way down now. haha let's see how Gabrielle does this week - I never know who'll top it until I sort all the songs out with the preference revealer. Even Georgia still has a chance! Get 'Into You' on rotation NOW!! It's a great bop, Mel C is on top form. Haha Gaga hasn't released anything past the 911 video so I'm elevating Replay to single status as it's my favourite on the album - I tend to extend an album's campaign way past the point the artist stops haha.
