  1. It's definitely a grower but it just makes me want to put on FS/LS and Cry Me A River.
  2. I work in the hospitals and I remember trying to get out of work that day took an hour and a half instead of 10 minutes because all traffic was being diverted through the grounds. There was no way in hell any ambulances were getting through any faster than that. It's all a bit ridiculous, I can't believe it's all kicked off again, people with nothing better to do with their time than sit on the dole and cause mayhem for everyone else. It's so damaging for trade in the city as well, there is literally no positives to be gained from it.
  3. David Villa to Arsenal is looking more and more likely, which is good as its exactly the kind of signing the club need. Another target for both Arsenal and Liverpool, Lewis Holtby has agreed to join Spurs in July. I seen him play for Schalke in the CL and have to say I was very impressed by him, gutted he's joining that lot but what can you do. They are also hilariously annoying Ferguson with their signing of Fryers from Liege, he really will complain about anything. Looks like Llorente is off to Juve, which you have to say is good for him, just a pity we won't get to see him in the PL, he was very tidy for Bilbao prior to this season.
  4. Marouane Chamakh to West Ham initially on loan. Balotelli is a great player and certainly raises the profile of the club within the media, but you have to draw the line and say that arguably he's only the 4th best striker at the club. Aguero and Dzeko will give it everything with no histrionics and Tevez has immersed himself into the squad well again after his tantrum. Sell him and get on with it (although I will miss the stories about him!).
  5. Arsenal are shite. That was arguably the strongest XI bar Giroud and Koscielny for Gervinho / Vermaelen. I know Swansea are a good team with a good manager, but realistically, Arsenal should be beating them at home. And Norwich and Villa and Fulham. I've never doubted Wenger in the past, but now it's just so demoralising to watch them play, I think a shakeup might be in order. I'd rather he resigned that go through the ignominy of being sacked though. Also, Rafa is 25/1 to be the next Prem manager sacked.... worth a punt?
  6. Blur have two new songs out, 'Under The Westway' and 'Puritan Song' which was premiered on Zane's show tonight, and there is the possibility of a new album in the future. I think Westway is like a The Good The Bad & The Queen track, while Puritan is almost sounds like it could be a Gorillaz track with more Blur-ish lyrics (if that makes any sense). _zDNv8HTecw m5DlAZoEsfo Hopefully a new album is in the pipelines, these tracks aren't too bad to begin with.

Rosol played fantastically, I was sure he was going to choke at the end. Still, I think he'll go out in the next round, but would be nice if he could get a good run going. He won't be ranked #100 for much longer I can't imagine. Watson was outclassed today, Radwasnka was just too good. Still, she is only 20 and can improve, but I doubt she will ever really trouble the second week at a Major.

Fantastic race, was really pleased to see Vettel and Hamilton DNF. Felt really sorry for Grosjean, he's been exciting on his comeback, and was hoping for 8 different winners. Still, I thought the podium was fantastic to see, a throwback to the previous era shown above. Schumi
  10. So good!

I was disappointed Low went for Schurrle (and Reus but he played great) over Gotze tonight, he should be getting a lot more game time, especially ahead of Kroos. The Germans were fantastic tonight, I expect them in the final. Tomorrow's QF has the potential to be an absolute classic, hopefully both teams play for the win and not to not lose.

25th June - 8 July, I believe. Well done Sharapova today, becomes the 11th woman to have a career slam, and moves back to #1 in the world. Tomorrow's final will be very interesting.
  13. Loved Before Today, can't wait for this.

Group A: 1. Poland 2. Russia 3. Czech Republic 4. Greece Group B: 1. Netherlands 2. Germany 3. Denmark 4. Portugal Group C: 1. Spain 2. Ireland 3. Croatia 4. Italy Group D: 1. Sweden 2. France 3. England 4. Ukraine QF: Poland vs. Germany France vs. Spain Netherlands vs. Russia Sweden vs. Ireland SF: Germany vs. Netherlands France vs. Ireland F: Germany vs. France ------ I recognise it seems extremely blind of me to put Ireland in the semis, but I thought since the English tend to do it, why can't I? :D On a serious note though, I think they will beat Italy who are a shadow of their former selves, and assuming Spain win all 3 group matches, it could all hinge on the opening match vs. Croatia, where a draw might be enough. The Germans look the best equipped of all teams, I think Spain will miss Villa and especially Puyol and that will ultimately tell for them.
