If I had to guess I would say it is hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which can be difficult to detect and has caused this kind of incident with a number of GAA players. He will probably get fitted with an ICD inserted to try and regulate any arrhythmias. If that is the case, he should have a relatively normal quality of life, and can still play sports, though I doubt he will play professionally still. I imagine we will hear more over the next few days after they have done a few tests to try and get an accurate diagnosis.

Maldonado deserved what he got, since he ran Grosjean off at the very start. Still, its nice to see Williams seemingly competitive again. I am already looking forward to Malaysia. The Sky coverage was good, but the new commentator made a few too many mistakes throughout the race, but it was probably beginner's nerves and all that.

Button was imperious today, I really hope he wins the title this year. Vettel looked decent too, but was helped with Shumacher going out and the safety car. Will be very interesting to see if the pace of Mercedes and Lotus can keep up and challenge Ferrari for third spot. If Massa does not improve his form soon I imagine he will be gone, he was very very poor today.

If he went into cardiac arrest as is being reported, there is sadly still every chance he will not make it, the next 2 and a bit days are crucial. I really genuinely hope he pulls through, but having seen this happen before both in sports (especially GAA) and in "real life", I know there is a serious possibility of him dying. Thoughts are with his family and friends. And well done Spurs and all involved at the club, much as I hate them they were extremely classy last night. It is fair to say I think his playing career is over, hopefully all goes well and he can get a job in the game somewhere else.

  6. Gorgeous artwork
  7. United back on top, Swansea should now be safe, and deservedly so, The Liberty really is a fortress. A Wigan win today is necessary I feel. Up the Latics!
  8. This is good, but he will never top Boy In Da Corner. I'd be surprised if radio picks up on this to be honest.
  9. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/ab/Tyga_Careless_World_Cover.png New album from the Young Money member, he has done nothing worth shouting about for the last few years, but "Rack City" has made people take notice. Fantastic song, mediocre album. AE3yia1AJeQ&ob=av3n
  10. Not a patch on Bounce, We Found Love or Feel So Close, but I imagine this will be an inescapable summer smash.
  11. Also, this is all kinds of good, yay for the new album etc etc.
  12. Twenty One was a rather fantastic album back in the day, I think if there was ever going to be a moment for them to break into the big time, that was it.
  13. Everton beating Spurs :o If they keep this up, they could go ahead of Liverpool with a win on Tuesday.
  14. I think today has ruled Liverpool out of the running, I am surprised there is not more pressure on Dalglish's job, they are not performing any better than under Hodgson IMO.
  15. This is great. I'd love an André solo album too, but I'd be worried it would be a sub-par Love Below II, rather than him actually RAPPING.
  16. I fancy Everton to do one on Spurs this weekend, and Chelsea *should* beat Stoke at home. I think if Arsenal win against Newcastle on Monday (as they should) then it is game over for Pardew's top 4 dream.
  17. Love love love. Hopefully they get noticed a bit more this time around, the Guinness ad might have done them some favours commercially.
  18. Chelsea really are a farce, I can't believe for one second Guardiola would even consider the job. I suppose Abramovich thinks he'd bring Messi along for the ride? Podolski to Arsenal is very promising, he has a fantastic left boot and isn't afraid to shoot from distance, and he has bags of experience with 95 (!!!) caps at the age of only 26. Him and RVP could work well together. Dawson out injured long-term could also affect Spurs, I agree with Szczesny I actually think they could finish 5th if they are not careful.

  21. Chelsea were apparently extremely poor at WBA today. I do feel sorry for AVB, he's clearly not going to be there much longer, and I think he's a better manager than the results have suggested. The Chelsea job has always been a bit of a poisoned chalice, but it was always going to be much worse this year.
  22. I think Downing is part of Liverpool's problem, much too average. Players like Adam, Downing and Henderson aren't good enough for a club of their size. I think you need a major overhaul of the midfield in the summer to provide for Suarez and Carroll and then you will be fine.
  23. RVP is surely up there with Messi and Ronaldo now as a clear top 3 in the world. Szczesny also played well, though Downing is absolutely atroctious. Also Suarez is a diving bastid.
  24. Teen Dream was one of my top 5 of 2010, more than excited for this.
  25. This is not usually my thing at all, but I am really liking this! :o
