  1. Wayne has been in freefall since 2008, I am not surprised he is poor here.
  2. Forgot about Chris Houghton, he would definitely fit the good category, and another man who turned down Wolves. Sbragia was another massive flop. Who could forget Kean  Also, Arshavin is being loaned back to Zenit as we speak, can't say I'm entirely surprised, but I fail to see how this is good for Arsenal. I know he is in dire dire form, but he still has the ability to spark a game into life if he wants. :(
  3. I agree about fans not wanting Steve Bruce, if I were them I'd go for Lee Clark. Young and upcoming manager, and currently out of work, and despite Huddersfield fans thinking he should have done better (!?), he did have a massive unbeaten run almost on a par with the Invincibles. Anyone who appoints the assistant until the end of the season tends to fare horribly, non? The only instance I can recall it really working is Jol at Spurs (I am sure there are others, but this is the only one that immediately springs to mind).
  4. This record is stunning (as is she  )
  5. I'd say Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton have weaker squads than Wolves personally, even Norwich despite them performing well this season. It says a lot about how far Steve Bruce's star has fallen that he hasn't already been appointed.
  6. I'm surprised at the likes of Curbishley turning down the Wolves job, they have a squad strong enough to stay up and could potentially push on. I do still think Mick could have kept them up, but he was never going to get the time given the run they are on.
  7. Roman Reloaded is good but is essentially an inferior Did It On 'em, I don't know what to make of Stupid Hoe, I think it's good bar the "chorus" and Starships is f***ing dreadful. Nicki has gone badly downhill :(
  8. Niggas In Paris video is indeed amazing. They are doing a cheeky UK Tour in June and I have tickets, EXCITEMENT.
  9. I still love them, "Grow Up And Blow Away" hasn't aged too badly I don't think. Excited for this, hopefully its a step-up from "Fantasties", it was very hit-and-miss.
  10. This is just as strong as Treats, but it isn't quite as immediate. Good good good though!
  11. Watching Arsenal, United and Chelsea in Europe this season has really shown how far the Premier League has fallen. Not one of them has produced a good performance, bar except Chelsea beating Valencia. Real & Barca are way too far ahead, and the Serie A and especially Bundesliga teams are getting much much stronger. Three years ago Napoli stuffing Chelsea like that would have been laughable, United would never have gone out of that group and Arsenal would at least have (probably) performed better against AC. As long as there is TV money, the English teams will be strong, their problem is the other leagues are now catching up with them.
  12. Looks like there will be no English teams in the Champions League QFs this year, the Chelsea match made for some pretty great viewing tonight, and while it's not inconceivable for them to go through, I still fancy Napoli to score away, they are too strong up front not to.
  13. The 2009 concert was incredible, I think I will be going to this again.
  14. Great again, this album should be one of the best of 2012.

This is fantastic, easily his best since the Confessions era. I think you are spot on here, as much as I'd love him to go in this direction for his whole album, I imagine there will be bangers-a-plenty on it :(

The Guardiola thing I think is pure fantasy, and as much as I would love to see him as the next manager of Arsenal, I would look at the appointment with some trepidation. He could be one of those managers who really excels at one club (right club, right time) and then never quite lives up to that elsewhere. I actually fancy Jurgen Klopp to replace Wenger and hopefully bring Mario Gotze with him. This is obviously pure speculation as I cannot envisage Wenger leaving or the board sacking him. Well done to Liverpool today, they looked a bit more lively than usual, though it helped that Bridcutt scored more own goals in one match than Torres has all year :o
  18. If Villa are not careful they will be dragged in there. I know they should have enough quality to be safe, but McLeish is not a good enough manager for a club that size. If Bent leaves in the summer, they are in big trouble. I think QPR are going to go down, no more than the odious Hughes deserves, and I think Bolton and one of Blackburn and Wolves will join them. I don't know why, but I just think Wigan will escape once again. Aside from the media shit-storm surrounding the early kick off, I loved the fairytale end to Thierry's second stint at the Stadium of Light, a classic "Hollywood" 90th minute winner. That leaves him on 229 goals for Arsenal, the stage is almost set to round it off to 230 against Milan on Wednesday?
  19. Man United vs. Liverpool 1-1 Blackburn vs. QPR 0-0 Bolton vs. Wigan 1-2 Everton vs. Chelsea 1-1 Fulham vs. Stoke 0-0 Sunderland vs. Arsenal 2-2 Swansea vs. Norwich 2-1 Tottenham vs. Newcastle 1-1 Sunday 12th February Wolves vs. West Brom 1-2 Aston Villa vs. Man City 1-4
  20. Sad news about Nigel Doughty at Forest :(
  21. Treehouse never fails to put a smile on my face, love their debut album! Would you say the second one's worth getting?
  22. Dandy, can I have until tomorrow evening for my votes? I am in the middle of finals and I won't have them ready tonight? :(
  23. The album is a bit of a grower, definitely.
  24. Sorry :(. I CAN'T UNTHINK IT NOW.
