  1. Ukraine: very, even too ambitious song. Hope this qualifies, but don't expect much in the final anyway.
  2. Estonia: Another song that sounds better on record. I kinda like it though.
  3. Iceland: not my fave and the song works on record way better than live Poland was huge mess imo, but she had some star power at least.
  4. I can see Israel coming 5th at best like last year. They have an aggressive ad campaign on social media again but it wasn't enough last year so I doubt that it will work this year either.

  10. But these are two different things, like discussed in this thread.
  11. Nah, Estonia will be on the safe side. It's one of the most streamed entries this year and is currently charting in 5 countries on Spotify and 7 countries on AM. For reference, Sweden is 6 (Spotify) and 10 (AM), although it's charting very high in most of those so expect a huge boost after the semi.
  12. I really want Portugal to qualify but it is an open game apart from Sweden.
  13. I voted "not sure". This whole debate is very subjective, even more than what is "good" and "bad", because ordinary is more nuanced and depends on your pov. For me, several dance tracks or "vibey r&b" like Eastside I mentioned in that thread are the most "run-of-the-mill"/ordinary type of songs. Type of songs that people don't really actively like or dislike. I also think Ordinary (by A. Warren) is very ordinary track and high in this ranking of most ordinary songs. Then there is also the debate that does the performer make a song less/more ordinary? Is a cover song more ordinary than an original?
  14. It's sad but that's how it goes today in the UK... Hope it can reach top 20 on YE chart. It's #10 now so it's definitely possible. Can't see anything else besides Oasis and upcoming Taylor release storming into top ten at this point of the year.
  15. Oh dear But clearly "the crazy fanbase buys everything" model doesn't apply with harder rock at all. I expected more from Ghost as well.
  16. US Billboard Hot 100 03 03 38 Die With A Smile, Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars (Peak: 1)
  17. I don't dislike this at all, but also cannot see it doing anything in the context of Eurovision. Would the ESC fans and the general public who are interested in music for that 4 hours every year just because of the contest choose to VOTE for this? I don't think so.
  18. #54 (-8) in the UK mids
  19. #47 (-3) in the UK mids
  20. #34 (-7) in the UK mids
  21. US Spotify: #161 (NEW) Connie Francis – Pretty Little Baby Hope it takes off in the UK too.
  22. Spotify: #2. (-1) Die With A Smile [+5,092,798] 201 days at #1 #19. (-6) Abracadabra [+2,540,405] #49. (-6) Poker Face [+1,875,298] #64. (-8) Judas [+1,709,091] #102. (-22) Bad Romance [+1,411,722] #122. (-20) Just Dance [+1,335,805] Very surprised that DWAS wasn't a #1 on a Sunday. Seems like it's having the last breaths at the top... What a run it has had!

Wow it took very long for Is It Over Now to go platinum considering it was a #1.
  24. It'll be #1 tomorrow too I reckon, and then Ordinary will overtake again on Tuesday.
