  1. Wonderwall is also #15 on global Spotify, so it's not just the UK.
  2. Wonderwall going #1 is still a long shot considering it was #18 on Spotify on Monday.
  3. I don't think it's about the age of the song, it's about a song sticking there like plague. Wonderwall will not stay on SCR for 50 weeks.
  4. Some of the GHs do pretty much same numbers month after month. For instance Diamonds was at 61k after Q1 and is now at 121k.
  5. Maybe it would've if it was a Friday release. I just can't understand what's the point of these midweek releases.
  6. Where are her US fans? I get that this is very "European" album with all European producers, but still...
  7. COADF is way overrated as an album but it has some bangers and a vibe. I must admit I haven't listened to in in full since 2009 lol

Madonna might do 50k but it'll be close. Nice sales anyway. New peak for Mr. Worldwide!
  9. A song that makes people dance!
  10. That could've been saved for the 2nd week but I guess they are insecure about the US #1.
  11. 5th July 2026 01 214 Madonna 02 140 Kylie and Dannii Minogue 03 62 Steps 04 42 Robbie Williams and Take That 05 35 Lady Gaga Weekly positions in 2026: 02-03-03-06-03-01-02-05-06-05-05-02-03-03-01-02-02-03-03-02-03-05-08-07-07-05-05

Danceteria is still top 30 on AM so should stay in top 40.
  13. So 50k by Friday is definitely possible, nice!
  14. Cannot wait this to be top 10 of ALL-TIME on Spotify
  15. Danceteria still ahead of BYL is great to see.

Oh her inventing new variants every week is of course a different story. But she's an anomaly there being able to sell the same album to same people in several separate occasions. I highly doubt that Confessions II (Hide the Cocaine Edition) would be a big hit on week 8.

12 variants don't help beyond the week 1 anyway. Albums can go like Niall Horan's latest (fade into oblivion on week 2) or actually have some staying power and of course the latter is more preferable.
  18. Can this reach 1 million daily?
  19. That sounds more acceptable than 8M.
  20. I don't think we have the exact numbers yet, as the counter numbers are a day behind? However, the album sequencing in terms of song quality is not very streaming friendly, I find the first 4 tracks too generic and old-school for streaming era. Had the more dynamic, and dare I say, INTERESTING songs like Love Without Words and Danceteria been there among the first 3 or 4, it might have helped a bit. Idk, they had a vision and I appreciate that, but maybe people just gave up on listening after the opening and went straight to Danceteria? COADF had: Hung Up, Get Together, Sorry, Future Lovers - all fabulous hits on their own, 3/4 were singles This has: IFSF, Good for the Soul, One Step Away, BYL - only IFSF works as an introduction, others are my bottom 3 on the album which really SHINES when things get going later.
  21. Beyoncé is even #13 in US amidst all the 4th of July tracks. Very promising start there. It'll obviously do worse on Spotify but should chart on Hot 100. EDIT: Bey up to #107 on AM
  22. It was pretty sad to see that BYL went top 30 on Spotify in May and now none of the other tracks couldn't even chart and BYL couldn't re-enter... That said, her US promo has been nonexistent since the Grindr show in New York and dance music in general is hard to sell for GP there. Also the 4th of July weekend didn't help.
  23. I was indeed mirroring this with AM performance which indicated a bit better. Albums also tend to lift individual songs higher than they would go as singles, which didn't happen with Confessions II at all beyond Danceteria (the focus track). The album will still be runaway #1 but hoped a decent splash for singles chart too.
