I don't even like Ed but this "discussion" is so tiring. Even though he is not as popular as he once was, he is still doing decent numbers in his home country which is what this thread is about. Globally though, it is clearly an underperformance, no matter how you look at it. But all he needs to do is release something as Amazon exclusive next Christmas and he'll get an easy #1 again.

It's by far the most successful album released in 2025 currently in weeks in top ten: Sam Fender and Tate McRae both got five. Fender opened with higher sales though. Also predicted to stay in top ten in the US!

I'm brave and say that people don't really LISTEN to Christmas music as much as charts indicate. Most of the consumption is just playlists being played on the background during family time/Christmas preparations etc. Easter does not have that tradition at all (although Judas should be played non stop :p )

Juno's best streaming week on Spotify this year was the week ending March 20 (with the tour impact I suppose?). The highest week to date was the release week last year.

I don't know but it's just the way labels count it these days...but to me, the album sales start from the point it's released.
