  1. Baffled by Janet doing well here. I am one if her biggest fans but her relevance declined a lot in the early 00s and never really recovered. Sure, she has her fans but could she fill a stadium in the UK? Never! Whereas other in that top 5 would do it with ease (if alive).
  2. The average song length on T2 was less than 3 mins, so very "streaming friendly" and we know how successful that album turned out to be (2 weeks on album chart).

So it is basically a Friday release then.
  4. US album chart 85 82 473 The Fame, Lady Gaga (peak: 2)

Which is by James Horner as well, Celine Dion sings it. It's kinda pointless to follow RMI's sales all the time because it needs 3 weeks of decline in streams compared to the market. Whether it's +/- compared to last week in the mids is totally irrelevant for like 2 weeks.
  6. Omg get that another week in top 40!!
  7. This is basically a GH, can see it outdoing Radical Optimism in the long run.

I don't think a song hovering around top 30 even on ACR (like Ordinary) is a problem to anyone by any means. It just shows that the song is truly popular. The biggest issue is the volatility of the SCR-->ACR process where basically two streams over "market level" can be decisive. Therefore, I'd suggest eternal ACR for songs that have been chart for over a year (52 wks) in any circumstances UNLESS they are gaining prominently (25% week-on-week).

Let's see if there are some left, that'd be AFTER the 19th, especially if not included yet.
  10. The Chain was also heavily used in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The soundtrack went platinum in the US and UK.

Strange, Swifties have told us on X that she is the reason why it opened with over 300M on global box office.
  17. Well it's not like Rumours wasn't already one of the best selling albums of all time. But what have made them more special in recent years is the new appreciation to other songs as well, especially the Tango in the Night singles. Also Elton John went from a has been in the 80s to one of the most acclaimed and best selling catalogue artists in 2010s (and got even NEW hits in the process).
  18. Little Lies is my current fave from them, works as a mid tempo song in dj sets too. Hope it can re-enter the chart at some point.
  19. No debuts? Jesus!

Do we know that Taylor still has physicals to be shipped? If not, she isn't likely to be #1 with a song that is #13 on AM and #29 on Spotify.
  21. I'm pretty sure there will be some physicals for next week too.
  22. Taylor's sales have nothing to do with ACR process. The song declined in streams a lot.
  23. Wow didn't expect that considering there were quite many new and re-entries thanks to football and stuff.
  24. It's giving Selena Gomez's cassettes
  25. Have people who ordered the TS single actually received it?
