I think 250k for #10 on Sunday is pretty good or at least normal.

I think personal opinions are very welcome on artist forums! Based on what I've heard, I am on the fence whether her new music is actually good or not. I really liked what Madame X represented and don't think this dance/club style is automatically better than what Crave/I Don't Search I Find/God Control were. I will also always defend Popular as her key track of the decade. She did great job on that one.

I guess the 1st day was on Spotify but IFSF went quite high on AM whereas LS is yet to appear on their chart.

Would be miracle if this charted in the first place.

It was down 440k on Spotify weekly so it cannot have had a reset. It was also #46 on official chart last week so very bizarre that it is now suddenly 25 positions higher, albeit in the mids but still.

Even on her album's birthday she thinks about "the haters". Is this some kind of twisted marketing strategy? I don't understand.

She has the video on Spotify and Apple Music too but not on Youtube which I believe has soften the drop a bit (not that the video has any value for what it is, but surely some Swifties watch it from these platforms).

At least it's not as limited as with Ella Langley who charts basically only in Anglo-American countries and Scandinavia. Regarding the tactics, she knows very well that when she releases the whole album at once without pre-album singles, the chances of getting multiple number ones are way slimmer so to increase that tally, she needs to sell physical variants of singles. It worked with Opalite so she got two #1's but the third was impossible.

Taylor debuted at #1 only in four countries (US, UK, CAN, AUS). For instance in Finland, I Knew It.. went to #23. She is way more Anglo-American superstar than people think. Her success elsewhere depends a lot on what the material is like which is why I think she'll never go fully country. Also her strategy to not release pre-album singles has kept her album opening days massive, wonder if she ever changes that approach.
