Tbf I'd have a potential for this category too, but I'm sure that it's not the 2(?) that's been discussed. Although 'earbleed' would be a bit of a stretch. Poor lady, it's not her fault that I hate her voice.

Voted! Great final, I could've voted for at least 10 more. My 18 was set in stone from the start, but I kept changing up the order of the rest - I'm sure any other day my votes would look quite different.

I've tried to avoid sending anything in Hungarian to the main contest (I think I haven't even sent anything in Hungarian in 10+ years - although I flopped a couple of times in Nuggets/UP). It's always a bit of a concern if a song works for a 'foreign' audience, or it's only the lyrics - I'm glad it worked out this time.

If I DNQ then I'll blame it on Cor Lupus Pagasa not voting. The last time I DNQd I also blamed it on Pagasa not voting, so this is a bit of a theme here in Land of DW (even though I still would've DNQd with +12 points... not relevant). Btw 'Minden mozog' is amazing, it 100% should Q, one of my best entries. I agree that Deandria should be a pretty safe Q.

I have about 10 potentials, half of which I'll definitely send at one point. In the end, I went with (maybe) the riskiest one - I've been obsessing over this song for 2 months now, so it has to be part of the Land of DW catalogue.

Congrats Dan, what a great entry to finish the year! Apparently, 'Amsterdam...' WAS in the more favourable semi, I thought that most of its fans are in semi 2, but clearly I was wrong (or the song had more time to warm the hearts of the semi 1 crowd). tbf I didn't expect a lot better, I'm definitely happier with this result than I would be with the 25th place of 'No Audience' - I really thought that it's a 100% top 10 when I confirmed it. Crazy. (Still not as crazy as Kathaldazia going from 6th in the semi to 32nd in the final or East Ruk going from 8th in the semi to 42nd... tf happened there). A great contest to end the year, thanks tons for the seamless hosting Rich, the drama and the bonus stats are always appreciated!
