(No shade though, it definitely looks great and it's easy to use, I just wanted to 'test' what the app knows.)

Confirmed - I'd have 100 potentials for this contest, but... this one has been my potential for whatever contest for a long time, so I'm happy that finally it gets entered! Definitely bottom half for me (if not bottom 3) but no worries, I'll blame y'all :cheer:

I have a Q. Do we have to vote for all the 10 songs? My problem is that I listened to all the songs this year (other semi DNQs included) and quite simply I don't have 10 songs I properly like in any of the heats. There are some gems, sure, I have 4-6 songs in all the heats I really like but I'm not motivated enough to go through all the rest to find my 2 pointer (random.org is not my style). I'm happy to vote for a top 5-6 in all of the heats if that's possible, it's not an issue though if it's not allowed (I still might vote in later rounds).

Oh no, thanks, I'm definitely not after a Q recipe, I know that my stats could be a lot better if I sent safe® stuff - but I prefer sending me-stuff (sorry everyone :lol: ) and although DNQing with something I love feels shite, the next day I'm ready for the next contest. On the whole drama: I usually find it hard to hold myself back and sugarcoat my opinion - so some of the 'light and fluffy' comments pissed me off - let this be my problem, we're different. In the past 5-ish years, everyone had at least one entry that I loved. Music is one of the not too many things that makes me happy, so everyone here contributed to my happiness at some point. Although I don't comment much, I really cherish BJSC and everyone behind it, it's not something I'd give up on because of 6/10/countless DNQs (and I don't understand why anyone would consider quitting because of this - again, my problem). And now it's time to listen to Semi 2 :w00t:

Nope, not ALL. Sorry, I know that I'm a 'bit' of a drama queen about this, had a shitty day.

1) I still hope that this is a joke and part of the necessary(?) drama that's Cody. 2) If it's not a joke, then some of the responses to the 'if you wanna convince me to stay'-drama make me really sad. These responses make me feel small and insignificant. They make me feel that Cody is better and more deserving than some of us. Guess what, the 'flop nations' don't like failing, either. I had some DNQs this year that made me shattered and bitter. I got the 'bad news' 6 times this year (!). Should I quit? Should Riser and Coi quit? Or Pete with 7? Does anyone care? Noone really wants to convince us to stay. I don't need convincing, btw. This is the game, there are winners and losers, Qs and DNQs , that's what we're signed up for. So please, PLEASE stop convincing Cody of staying in BJSC after one DNQ, he's a big boy, he can decide if he wants to stay himself. As now, after a Q (yay) I'm sitting here and I'm feeling shittier than after any of my DNQs. Thanks.

Yeah, this is the perfect country to live in, the situation is worse than it was 15 years ago. BUT I don't think that the reason for quitting would be homophobia. Quite simply we are like a f*cking annoying 5-year-old, SO sour losers - we never win because Europe hates us and how dare they make us DNQ ONCE after several years of Qs. Of course, the issue is not with the dodgy rules of 'Dal' and the shitty, incompetent, dinosaur judges, but with EVERYONE ELSE. So Europe, f-you, we'll have our own competition, so we'll definitely win :magic:

Oh, feel free to present your idea (steal my thunder :kink: ), I'll host the next UP too, so I'm not in a rush with this (+ I guess there are no more spinoffs this year, only Rejects + EOY). No Christmas spinoff for me ('Christmas Unicorn' was stolen from me and all the other Christmas songs can die) but YASS for Masquerade Vol. 3!!

I gathered a fairly long list of potentials for BJSC during the years that I didn't end up sending for whatever reason (too safe/too risky/too weird(not necessarily in a good way)/'not really me'/forgot about its existence/I already sent something similar, etc.) and I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't enter them in the future, either. I guess everyone has 1 or 2 (or 20) forgotten potentials like this. I think it might be interesting to have a 'Forgotten Potentials' spinoff, as these songs can still be great discoveries for others + they would get the spotlight they deserve. If the crowd likes the idea then I'm happy to host the contest in the future. (I love the 'BBC Introducing' idea that Lewis had too, btw)
