Oh, feel free to present your idea (steal my thunder :kink: ), I'll host the next UP too, so I'm not in a rush with this (+ I guess there are no more spinoffs this year, only Rejects + EOY). No Christmas spinoff for me ('Christmas Unicorn' was stolen from me and all the other Christmas songs can die) but YASS for Masquerade Vol. 3!!

I gathered a fairly long list of potentials for BJSC during the years that I didn't end up sending for whatever reason (too safe/too risky/too weird(not necessarily in a good way)/'not really me'/forgot about its existence/I already sent something similar, etc.) and I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't enter them in the future, either. I guess everyone has 1 or 2 (or 20) forgotten potentials like this. I think it might be interesting to have a 'Forgotten Potentials' spinoff, as these songs can still be great discoveries for others + they would get the spotlight they deserve. If the crowd likes the idea then I'm happy to host the contest in the future. (I love the 'BBC Introducing' idea that Lewis had too, btw)

Well, Sammie won this for Georgina (Georgina played a good game too + she managed to eliminate Ella, so she deserves it 100%), but if there's no COT, Ella, Tim and Woody would all be in the final and she had no chance at all. Sammie won't win, (s)he played a bit too aggressively, but I still like that he didn't roll over to die and he worked his ass off to be believable as a young mother.

I'm all for the Sammie + Paddy (+ Gerorgina) alliance, it's refreshing to see some people actually playing. Tim, Woody (and Ella) are all lovely, but f*ck kumbaya, I want them to 'work' for the money.

I agree that Brooke was fading away a bit (I liked her though), but blocking her was a HUGE mistake on Tim's part. Brooke would always have his back and would rate him in the top 2-3, now it's pretty much guaranteed that he won't be an influencer again (not to mention that Georgina will give him poor scores too). Blocking Brooke was basically suicide for his game. Woody and Ella might save him for some rounds, but at top 5-6 it would be easy for Ella to say that she has a good relationship with the girls (G+S) and Paddy too and I'm sure she can persuade Woody to agree with whatever she wants.

I really can't see why a 58-year-old would know a Britney song from '99. Ask people in their 40s about current pop stars, 9 out of 10 won't have a clue about most of them. I'd be really surprised if Jack+Beth could pull off Joyce. It seems to be a hard job without preparation, it will be so easy to mess this up.

Hyped for this! I loved 'Bloodless Y' in its contest so my expectations are extremely high with that one!

Some very good questions here! I really don't think that they'd have access to Netflix or anything like that. Can you imagine any of them having Netflix and thinking 'Oooh, let me do that 1000-piece puzzle instead of watching a movie' - and basically everyone is doing puzzles. I guess they can ask for something to 'play with', like Brooke plays hair salon and Sy had the car (tractor? - can't remember). Why would they have contact with anyone else? I can't see the need for that (all the stuff they use/need is in front of the door). "Otherwise this would be the hardest show ever to be on." Haha, you should watch 'Alone', people are left in Alaska alone in the middle of nowhere with 10 chosen items to survive with - they build their own shelter, hunt/fish to eat and there is literally noone around (they film themselves, so there's no camera crew). Now that might be the hardest show to ever be on, this is not even close. It's a good guess that there are a lot more challenges/tasks, perhaps some of them are only 'for fun' and the good/edgier ones are for TV.
