Hey Guys! Yes, finally it’s here, the event of the summer, the music competition you’ve all been waiting for: the 29th edition of Unknown Pleasures. If you’re new to these contests, then UP is the perfect entry point: we are great people with great taste in music. And we might have cookies too. Let’s get to your most favourite part - The Rules: 1 - There’s no limit to the length or genre of your song, but don't forget that this is the Indie/Alternative forum so be a good girl and choose something that fits here. 2 - We are all hungry for real gems, so this is the time to go for something really inspired, truly unknown. Ultimately, we just want beeps and boops. 3 - Please don't submit songs from artists who made the UK Top 75 singles chart or the UK Top 40 albums chart. 4 - Don't send a song that was previously sent to Unknown Pleasures, Nuggets, or BJSC. five - People with much more power than me (like the mods, WhoOdyssey and SevenSeize) might veto your entry if you tried to submit a song from Justin Bieber or simply they have a bad day. I wouldn't mess with them. last one - Do not reveal or hint at your entry at any point – the ’Unknown’ bit is not a joke! Please send a nice message to me /FrankLuck/ with the following details of your entry: Artist: Song: Audio link: (Youtube/Soundcloud) MP3 link: (optional, I’m quite retro so I might actually make an mp3 pack for old time’s sake) DEADLINE: 12TH AUGUST (WEDNESDAY) 23:59-ish Good luck Everyone, happy searching! I will! Of course I am :D I even had 'Expedicion' on cassette!

Yep, but I got through only once, wasn't really enough for voting properly.

oopsies... checking the results though, if that counts

Yass, hoped that you're a fan Addy  My original entry was 'Hypa Hypa', I didn't think of Wholune as the country behind it, but well, it should've been obvious  Fingers crossed it does well!

Good luck to the BITCH stealing my original banger  Reconfirmed with a similarly epic entry.

Just to make things a bit more complicated... is it too late to confirm? :kink:

Congrats Iz, great winner!

My lullaby after Séyetana's banger... what a smooth transition  (Monday's good for me too)

It's 70% Larisa Ryan though (still quite an American name, I know :D ) Armenia was hard. I really wanted to send dance but I hated everything. (I guess I'd have the same problem with Greece, at least the Armenian rock scene is decent, although a bit too folk-y for this crowd).

This was A LOT harder than I expected. I found songs that: 1) I don't like (loads of these, from different genres) 2) I do like (but noone else would appreciate /apart from Iz/) And in the end I went cheap AF (well, as cheap as you can get with this country). Great discovery though.

Yeah, can't skip this one. 1. Séyetana 2. Skall 3. Cor Lupus 4. Jadakissnia 5. Danæviia 6. Bøtanikkä 7. Trifoski 8. Cadelicia 9. Flynnonda 10. 11. Vülkyria 12. Sandénia 13. 14. Yes please.

All 3 are great entries! 'Licht Und Schatten' is such an Iz entry (but a Chez entry too...hmm). Still, deserves to win. Already flopping hard, fantastic.

Oh, I know which one's your entry, let me know if you need help :kink:

Ok, I believe this is the first time in my life that a 13-minute long song finished and I hit replay straight away. Wow.

I'm still around + I'm definitely planning to check out the entries! One of my top 3 potentials made it, so Sandénia hype all the way  There aren't too many songs I know this time (under 10), I'm glad that Jupiter ended up sending 'Fet House Mode', hope it will do well, great entry! And we'll see, maybe I'll enjoy the contest even more without me being the part of it after so many years

Eek, I thought I'll do a tiny bit better than a DNQ with my goodbye song... ah well. (lost my 12 too, this is the definition of Land of DW-style)

No worries, plug still gives error.

I had some kind of semi-god power before but it was taken away from me (booo), so I can't help much. I'll try to behave myself though

Yay, finally I could stay till the end

I thought it won't let me submit the votes until I have something different in every field, then I thought it won't let me submit a new set of votes (with the same country name), only to modify the ones I already had. (No shade though, it definitely looks great and it's easy to use, I just wanted to 'test' what the app knows.)

Voted for the same song 15 times  (And now I submitted another set of (proper) votes - this form's definitely not working the way I expected).

my revenge after a DNQ is that I comment even less :kink:
