tbh I was really looking forward to listening to the MUNA/Robyn mashup, as I love Robyn, but whatever MUNA does irritates me greatly. I enjoyed 'Fleeting' quite a bit, most likely it would've got some Land of DW points. And yeah, there's a good chance that it would've won.

The 10 veto points might be fair, but think of this scenario differently: if 4 people (including me) confirm a song and I get to send it, then if I'm lucky enough and we're all in the same semi, the chances of me qualifying with a (close to) 36-point headstart are pretty great. Not to mention that my entry's likely to get these countries' 18s in the final too: getting 3 18s already puts me in the top 10% (-ish, just wrote a number) - and the contest haven't even started.

Hopefully my gem is not confirmed yet (athough..) And the song that was confirmed 4 times in an hour should be a veto, 100%. Noone cares about blog coverage anymore, if something gets confirmed 3+ times then it should be an auto-veto, no need to count points at all.

Very late to the party, some friends stayed at my place for a couple of days. Congrats Phil, solid winner, 'Maschio' didn't make my votes in the final in the end, but it was in the 16-20 region. Done - safe to say that I'm not paid to be creative 😅 My entry is DOA, but... I just have to have it in my catalogue. I was totally obsessed with it last year, but I wasn't mentally prepared to crash and burn in the semi stage. The time has come.
