I was a bit hesitant to submit an entry this month as I'm getting married exactly in two weeks, some busy days ahead :w00t: Can I maybe ask for the 'holiday procedure'? I should be able to vote in the final (very early) but I'd like to be on the safe side. This is the last entry of my 'old life', but I count it as the first entry of the new one (I'm moving to Germany next month) While it's not a 100% happy song* (it sounds like it), it gives me so much joy nowadays that I need to share it. So... new life, but old Land of DW, so obviously it's a flop that will help to extend my amazing DNQ streak - I hope at least the 3 members who understand the lyrics will appreciate my efforts :lol: /edit: not a 100% happy song* = it's pretty much about struggling with depression/anxiety. To me, the message is still somehow positive, gives hope that things can change for the better./

Voted! Sorry for leaving it late, I kinda knew that I won't be able to finalize my votes yesterday so I'm happy for the extension (and I was pretty much counting on it too). Great final, although I lost 5(!) out of my top 8 in Semi 2, including my would-have-been 12 and 10. Voted, I really enjoyed Semi 2! I expect my 12 to DNQ (a very brave entry, 100% up my alley, but I can think of only two other participants who will appreciate it...). BUT my 10 is also totally 18-worthy so I'm okay with losing my 12 this time (haven't listened to semi 2 yet).

I'm hyped for Worldvision, not interested in christmas at all, last's year's edition was horrid.

Okay, needless to say I had no idea that '1001 Arabian Nights' is a TikTok thing... :P (Yes, I still don't have a TikTok account) I was searching for an entry and while looking through the German download chart (lol) I found Ch!pz at 99 (I wasn't even suspicious at that point, although they're up to 44 this week :lol: ). It was a house party fave during my uni years + it's been a potential of mine since I joined, I even had to check if I already sent it. Not a lot I know this time, can't wait to find this month's gems!

Agreed, I listened to the original first, I loved it but thought it's not long enough, then confirmed the extended version without listening to it. Later I meant to reconfirm with the original version as I do prefer it too but work's been a shitshow and it slipped my mind. Oh well.
