Agreed, I listened to the original first, I loved it but thought it's not long enough, then confirmed the extended version without listening to it. Later I meant to reconfirm with the original version as I do prefer it too but work's been a shitshow and it slipped my mind. Oh well.

Oh, I'm not too worried about myself, all the fans of my previous MitiS entry were participants who are not that vocal about their votes (still, it's quite a competitive semi so I wouldn't be THAT shocked if I wouldn't make it). However, I think 8 out my votes are predicted to DNQ at least once, that... just can't happen :P I haven't listened to semi 2 yet, so who knows, there might be enough gems to fill up my top 15 if disaster happens.

I'll need to sit this one out, I wanted to give it a go with the holiday procedure, but realised that listening to 60+ songs properly in 2 days wouldn't be a very realistic goal... I'm still planning to check out the entries when I have a bit more time and I'll be back next month!

I do remember a lot more hate than I can see now in the Masquerade 2 thread to be fair (people 'not being satisfied' with the entries representing their nations). Maybe it was the first edition or on plug, dunno.

I'd love something inspired, no matter what the direction is, I don't expect Hushkanukia or Altyr Muunilinst to explore the Dr. Peacock discography. No matter who got Land of DW, I hope you had fun and found some gems even if your entry wouldn't have been my number 1 choice. :heart: HOWEVER, what I don't want is the nasty shite that went down in the previous edition. It's not MY entry after all, so I have no right to be an a$$hole about it. If I'm not a fan of the Land of DW entry then I won't vote for it, that's it.
