Naaah, you shouldn't... if something stands out then there's a chance that it finds both its fans and haters. In semi 2 my 31st qualified, while in semi 1 2 of my bottom 3 qualified. Sometimes some of these entries even make the top 10 in the end. In the end, as there are no minus points, you can give the exact same amount of points to your 11th fave and to the 'song' that would make your torture playlist. Poor 2x btw, I guess it's really not that instant. (Still love it, definitely my top entry this year - and just as Harve said, it's not me, it's you. xx )

I'm sorry Wardy for the harsh comments, I was blunt, but I didn't intend to make you feel bad at all. It was one of those cases when you think just because you (and your friends/age group at home) know something very well then everyone will know it, not taking into account that I'm older than most of the people in these contests and live(d) in a different country with a different music scene. I couldn't list more than 5 Muse songs, but I've heard 'Muscle Museum' loads of times - but I get that it is not as 'evergreen' for the audience as it is in my head. Congrats Cody, great entry again! Nearly got my 20 too, switched my top 2 in the last second (not that 'Fallen Angel' needed 5 more points, hehe). I'm very happy with 8th, I'm glad that a couple of you enjoyed 'You Were Different'!

Voted, at this point I'm just crossing my fingers for my 12-pointer as it has a couple of NQ predictions + I hope I'll also finish in the top 30 of my semi somehow. Would be interesting to see how often people lose their semi winners, as I feel it happens to me uncomfortably often.

OMG, I thought 'Rave Angel' is going to be my pop moment, I didn't submit it last month because I wanted something Utopia-friendly and I didn't submit it now because of Sanremo, etc., and I thought there's no chance of me standing out with a pop song in a most likely pop-heavy contest. I'm very happy with my entry though, we'll see if it finds its fans. A couple of vetoes are 'borderline okay-to-enter' for me, I hope the next batch will include all the PJSC medalists :P

Uhh, same here, even the song I ranked 13th in semi 2 made my final votes. HOWEVER, In the middle of my super-stressful Thursday I went out for a walk to clear my head while catching up on semi 1. I fell in love with Summericia's entry in 10 seconds and I kept listening to it on a loop until I got back to the office. Thanks Rob for sending 'Yarilo', you 100% made my day! :heart: :heart:
