Just checked Masquerade II, there, Holland-Oats was the one with only a few entries, he had to submit a few other (not too well-known) artists/songs he liked to make the list longer (and actually one from this list ended up representing Holland-Oats: /Art vs. Science/. Personally, I would prefer this option to getting a random inactive country as a 'partner' (if it's not a big chore for Ansel or anyone else with a shorter list joining). If I remember correctly, in Masquerade I the host checked that the sound of the two countries should be similar, but it's still an unknown country to a new participant.

I am definitely one of the three :lol: This is my favourite spinoff, the previous two editions were both fantastic. If you'd like to participate in 1 spinoff only then this is the one to go for!

I'd love to give it a go with this idea too! Is it technically possible though with Google Forms or would we need to go back to the 'submit the entry via a message to the host'-way (like in the case of other forum contests)? I'm not sure how the form works, but we could use it if the view of certain cells (the country name) is visible only to the host.
