  1. just seems like a weird time to tour and not take advantage of big opportunities especially cause this album feels very very big for her? I'm not sure on the legalities of what happens if she performs any 1989 songs live but she's been avidly blocking any use of the tracks for promotion uses, so unless she's planning to drop 1989 TV before the tour (which is probable), then it feels a bit odd. with how big the album is, glasto feels like it should be calling?
  2. this release schedule does allow her the opportunity to change the lead single, if it does get a 'Me' like reaction
  3. it was really weird... it was meant to be the lead single, it was on some tracklistings apparently but got cut and never mentioned again. there's a rumoured demo version out there by Mat Morrison
  4. this is contnual proof why taylor doesn't release lead singles anymore and does this style of release. the numbers and hype are insane.
  5. trying to work this out album... its sorta mellow meets arty farty. hope going forward she starts dropping album tracks from 'emotion' from her setlist.
  6. the 20th anniversiary is dreadful, lazy and pointless. a random bside that everyone already knows and some yawn-fest remix of 'beautiful'. there are so many unreleased tracks the woman could have released - like the original first single 'Under Her Spell'. lazy lazy lazy.
  7. when we say hit...

i've got Pretty Reckless, Kehlani & Michelle McManus booked for this year.
  9. don't recall where i wrote beyonce was a bland artist... i believe i wrote the album was bland and forgettable.
  10. also i think 'shook' is the same song as funk on treat myself
  11. I don’t think anything of the bland & forgettable album screams Bey
  12. Oh that would be funny

She also said she basically made an album people wanted her to which I thought wasn’t overly genuine
  14. I’ve voted YCOBMH as the other 2 I love a lot, though I love that one too. I’ve voted DWABH this round.
  15. I don’t think its viral impact (if its even having one?) will go into a second week?

I think she checked out before it was even out tbh
  17. I’m still confused why the album doesnt include so many sne did during lockdown? That Window somg, that dance moves one among others?
  18. Surely she won’t do a tour until all the TV’s are out
  19. Keep Climbing is deffo one thats come to me… Solid Gold & The Power were super fun live
  20. Folklore.. pits? The great thing about an artist like Taylor is how she understands her own artistic growth & probably doesnt need to reproduce Shake it Off for mass appeal.
  21. I deffo agree about the 13 tracks being fine. 20 too many. I noticed some people have listened to them as different collections which might be an idea.
  22. Shes living proof promo doesn’t need to exist. Just chuck a bunch of money at TikTok & radio & you’re on your way.
  23. also keep away is utterly glorious
  24. Shooting Star is v. experimental
  25. gPCCYMeXin0 a very camp video... doesn't really fit the song (nor does the candy crush theme). it very much reads as - get Chris Olsen involved but also make it Candy Crush themed  i don't think shes ever looked so disinterested in one of her videos before.
