i'm presuming everyone around her tells her how great she is... so she believes her hype. As for the song itself, it didn't sound too different from a Little Mix album track if i'm honest.

his interview with UK Charts is very strange. He says he wanted to prove himself with his first album so made it very singer-songwriter and yet addresses how his first single with Steve Aoki was made-for-radio and that his new music is dancey but not made-for-radio... though he doesn't regret the song though he doesn't seem to have acknowledged it since it first came out and has only recently added it to his setlists.

i don't personally have a problem with it but there is no denying her social media behaviour is sweet yet extremely odd. It's part of her character though as we know Britney's quite eccentric.

I do like that Liz Truss voted against smoking bans.

i dunno... avril released a new album and then a re-release of her debut album for her 20th anniversary. kelly hasn't released an album in 5/6 years.

the great thing is the have a lack of ability to control the media... so whilst the "Britney is crazy" angle is rife, which isn't helped by her social media posts... people have always disliked KFed more and seen him as a waster and the general consensous is that he's caused parental alienation.

there's much more of a strategy nowadays. look at the TROLLS saga and Say Something. Nicki is playing the #1 game more than she did before.

i'm personally confused at this... like do we really need another rendition of 9 to 5 or Jolene? Kelly already has soccer moms at her fingertips. Just release some original music to match. There must be some real issues happening behind the scene as it's unordinary for us to be celebrating 20 years of her existance in the media eye and we've not had an ounce of an album since 2017.

I just wish there was a final chorus where she sang over the beat. it's weird the chorus has the same melody as the beat yet isn't utilised.

there's a review out there that says Western Wind is not the direction of the album and says the majority of it sounds like Kiss meets Emotion. Though the same reviewer contradicts themselves and refers to Rufus as a Shrek 2 singer.

Chris Brown is a lot more accountable for his behaviour than Petras. Continually working with Dr Luke as Petras doesn't show ill formed it just shows continued ignorance. Releasing a sex-fest EP like that sex thing earlier this year with Luke as the producer was a big FU to Kesha imo. Anyway away from that. I don't know who this duet is for. Sam Smith has never hit with the gays and their audience is mainly middle aged mothers who like 'Stay with Me'.

Therapy was dead on arrival. Anne-Marie joins the list of Ella Henderson, Becky Hill etc. that for whatever reason - they really struggle without collabs. Saying that, Aitch being a feature is not a surprise. After the slight underperformance of his debut album, I'm not surprised to see a string of collabs coming his way.

i think they were hoping she'd get a hit out of it because Lewis Capaldi wrote it... similar technique to 'Your Song' with Ed Sheeran.

great for tove... weird about elton/britney - it reminds me of 2011 when she was having her biggest radio hit with 'I Wanna Go' and yet they didn't see it as a fit for radio.

her first #1 in Oz since 'Everytime'. I think the reason she didn't go back there after Circus was because of the backlash she got during the Circus Tour so it feels like we've come full circle.

i think you've 100% hit the nail on the head with S3... i think the obvious problem was there was no real standouts. Everyone felt like a watered down version of someone else better? And having spent time with the cast, everyone said their biggest threat was the contestant who went out first ??? That line up is interesting as is already really establshed. Seemed in the category of Lady Lloyd, Meth and Sandra where their a big too big to be on DR

i wouldn't say why not? shes arguably the most prominant female rapper and just had her first solo #1. if anything her career is in a much more solid position.
