i really don't think BlackPink measure up? Like I think arguably more people know Little Mix's music - like I don't think many could name a BlackPink song (I only know the one because Selena Gomez is on it). They just seem biggger because of social media.

i personally don't really get the achievement in having an album peak at #1 and then dropping... it shows the interest is limited? Saying that i am surprised at Aitch as he seems really popular - i guess he's more of a singles artist?

to answer - how did they get away with it for so long? Simple - fear tactics. People were blocked from seeing her, she was never alone, on the surface it may seem like she was overprotected however it may have read as caring family. The cracks really appeared during Glory - she was much freerer (I believe her dad wasnt around as much). I love Britney but i am intrigued that she didn't seem to link any of her 'erratic' behaviour during 2007 to the conservership - the head shaving, the umbrella incident. Maybe she doesn't really remember them and had logical reasons for them (certainly the umbrella). Just seems weird she doesn't think she did anything, except speak in a British accent, to warrant the conservership - i suppose there is a huge lapse in time.

the lip syncing was really bad there but nonetheless the song is great

"Yo No Se" (feauring L7nnon and Maffio) is fantastic. I do like this album but it's clear that it's abotu 3 different albums thrown in one. 'Envolver' is a career highlight.

Some of the songs on Madonna's album weren't even singles so i think it's a slight overexageration. I'm genuinley surprised Aitch isn't opening with higher. I thought he had #1 in the bag.

It still amazes me how UK radio was not interested in the Femme Fatale era at all... Till The World Ends not being top 10 is odd considering. I really would have thought Toxic would be #1 by now. It's the go-to Britney song.

i do hope they get the #1 - for some reason it means a lot to them - even if it drops like a stone and makes no further impact. It would be a bit on a LSL level if it didn't with all the packages, signings etc. they've done. They've done way more than Aitch and Madonna
