Not sure how I feel about this release. For me, disco was perfect the way it was and I’m not fussed about hearing remixes or collaborations of the album tracks. I’d rather we get new tracks so hoping we get some new material.

Various rumours are being reported on say hey about Kylie having done a duet with Olly Murs (or possibly Olly Alexander) and Gloria Gaynor. I really hope the Olly Murs rumour isn’t true as I can’t stand him and think that would be a bad choice and step back. Gloria Gaynor though could be interesting and wouldn’t say no to another Olly Alexander song.

I suspect the reissue is going to be a fairly low key affair and will appeal mainly to fans. Most of the big new album releases have been announced now but there doesn’t appear to be much of a buzz about this reissue apart from the fans.

I’m surprised the last album sold poorly. The style isn’t massively different but she hasn’t had a hit from it which has connected with the wider public.

Some really classic songs in the T20 but what is striking to me is the lack of decent quality songs in the last 10-20 years. Songs like hallelujah, when we collide and can we fix it are just awful.

I’ve just heard remember. It actually sounds really good. I was pleasantly surprised as I was initially disappointed it was a cover of a relatively recent song.

A lot of the same boring covers done by other artists. Doesn’t really interest me although I love Kelly!

I remember this being absolutely massive. It was played everywhere and there was such a buzz about it. Never expected it to do as well as it did but it totally deserved it.

The greatest hits is available to preorder on iTunes. No track list yet but deluxe has 5 extra tracks.

I’m starting face to face teaching in a few weeks and very apprehensive about it. I have been advised by the company I work for to speak to students in each class to get a consensus on things like mask wearing and social distancing but of course none of this is enforceable and people have a wide range of differing views on the situation. There will be some people like myself who are very cautious and others who aren’t bothered at all.
