I had a feeling it would drop. There is zilch promotion for the album. Kylie needs promotion if the album is to keep afloat.

Great album, I got it for Christmas. Seems a bit short at only 12 tracks but it’s good.

I’m not sure it will outsell Golden unless there is more promotion. Sales are going to nose dive in the New Year and impact of lockdown. Unless there is more promotion then it will struggle and may just fizzle out eventually.

Mamma Mia is my favourite. I was only 3/4 when it came out but my mum said I used to scream mumma Mia from my pram lol

Disco standard is £6.99 on HMV but deluxe edition is no longer available on their site. Amazon also don’t have the deluxe in stock!

Well they need to start promoting real groove and alongside with some discounting should help it to continue to sell. It was still £16.99 for the deluxe in my local HMV which is one of the most expensive albums at present!

With a national lockdown looking very likely, sales will drop off the edge of a cliff in the new year!

Yes, those factors are all likely to impact but I also think there hasn’t been as many big releases this year compared to some years!

I thought this weeks sales would have been higher the week before Christmas but when the number 1 has only sold 27k then that shows how much album sales have tumbled over recent years. It should reach 115k by end of this year!

Adele will no doubt come back with a big album but it won’t come close to matching the sales of any of her previous albums. It may not even sell 1 million units. The market has changed dramatically since her last album and a million selling album will now become a rarity rather than common place!

I don’t really follow the singles charts anymore. Lost interest a while ago. Now the albums chart is far more exciting and biggest surprise was Kylie Disco beating Little Mix and getting the highest first week sales of the year at that point during a lockdown!!

Well it’s great Disco will go Gold this weekend. It should hang around in the T30 this week.

Yes but there is only a small margin of something like 5k sales between no5 and no20 in the charts. It’s still selling pretty well given it’s been out 5 weeks now!

Good sales considering a biggish drop in chart position. Hopefully it will climb again and end up T15 but the sales are main thing at this stage. Unlikely to be T10 sadly!

I’m not a massive fan of ‘real groove’. It just doesn’t have the magical feel of the other two singles. That said, I’m glad the album is doing well and hope it helps it stay T10 this week.
