How do you know Kylie will lose for sure? Have you got a crystal ball? I think she will do better than 30-35k. Her last Golden sold more in its first week than your current prediction and that was in April and not Q4. If Kylie doesn’t win, it will be closer than you’re predicting I think. Kylie has done well on preorders and her fans will go all out to support her.

Streaming l, impact of covid on physical sales and heavy competition from Little Mux and Ariana Grande will prevent that but I hope it can sell well over the Christmas period.

Great song, this is potentially shaping up to be Kylie’s best album to date!

There has been no proper confirmation about Adele yet so it may not even happen yet!

Deluxe is now £8.99 and standard £6.99 on iTunes. Seems very cheap and I wonder if there has been a down turn in pre-orders in recent weeks or the record company are expecting the album to possibly struggle. Hope I’m wrong as I want disco to do well but just worried really given current situation and lack of promo to date.

So far, I would say that ‘say something’ and ‘magic’ are both very strong singles and if the album is of the same quality then it will be better received than golden. It would be such a crying shame if the album struggles due to the impact of covid. Kylie has clearly worked hard during lockdown. I really hope we get some promo very soon.

Little Mix are definately getting more promotion through their show and have an advantage of two hit singles. Kylie has so far done virtually no promotion. BMG & Kylie need to pull their finger out if she wants that no1 album - the fans will support her no matter what but she will need more than just fan sales to beat Little Mix. Magic and say something are great songs but both haven’t done half as well as dancing so far.

I’m not as excited about this album based on the first two singles. They just aren’t as strong. I will get the album at some point but not pre-ordering until I’ve heard rest of the album. I think it will do okay due to riding on the wave of success from tears on the dance floor but if this had been their first comeback album then I don’t think it would have done as well.

I think Paloma will struggle this era. She won’t sell as well as her previous releases due to the fact there hasn’t been a hit single from the album and impact of covid.

Any news about the deluxe reissue?

With the way things are going, I suspect we will inevitably have a nationwide lockdown in the next month or so involving closure of some shops. Sadly if this happens then it will impact on album sales to some degree but it will depend on how long it lasts and any promotion will be vital. Bulk of sales will be preorder from fans.

I think any exposure right now will help and can’t do any harm. I’ve heard Kylie will be doing a live streaming session to promote the album.
