I don’t really rate the new steps song. It’s ok but nothing outstanding. It’s certainly nothing in comparison to scared of the dark or their earlier stuff.
  2. Johnson did not accept any responsibility during his resignation. No apology at all for any of his failings or lies. I guess the question now is whether Johnson will be allowed to stay on until a new leader is found and who will take over. Given the massive backlash in resignations, I cannot see how he can remain as he has clearly lost the complete trust and support of his MPs. There are so many difficult issues that will need to be addressed during the coming months and without an effective and functioning government, that cannot happen.
  3. Well looks like Johnson has finally seen sense. I can’t believe it took him this long. What an idiot!
  4. Potion hasn’t set the charts on fire yet and can’t really see the album doing that well unless the songs are better.
  5. Have Sigala got a new album coming out? I really like this track!
  6. Not liked the first two songs at all so doubt this will be any good too.
  7. I like this. It’s pretty good and bit different to her other stuff.
  8. I feel ashamed to be British and have Boris Johnson as our PM. He is an utter disgrace - his premiership has been littered with multiple mistakes, cover ups, lies and scandals in such a short space of time. He must be the laughing stock of Europe right now. He has absolutely no credibility and never really did in my opinion - just full of Mumbo jumbo. Our country deserves much better than an incompetent liar.
  9. Just imagine if Johnson tries to dig his heels in and insists on calling a general election. It’s highly unlikely to work and would lead to more resignations. Johnson must know deep down just like Trump did that his time as PM is now up.
  10. It hasn’t been confirmed that Gove has resigned but he has already been extremely damaged by those who have resigned so as you say, he won’t last and he must know that deep down. He looks so weak and undermined now that it will be impossible to continue long term.
  11. It’s only a matter of time before Johnson will go. Looks like he will be forced out one way or the other either via a further vote of no-confidence if they change the rules or through a total collapse in support from his own MPs.
  12. With two senior cabinet members resigning, this is a serious blow for Johnson and it’s only a matter of time before he goes.
  13. Not a very good song. It should never have been a single. This was around the time when I started to lose interest in Madonna.
  14. Light years is miles better. X was a tale of two halves!
  15. Well this doesn’t look like being a hit so bring on the next single! I wonder if my head and my heart will be on the next album?
  16. Whether you think Johnson is a great PM is a personal opinion but in my view he is the worst PM I’ve ever known during my lifetime. He’s a compulsive liar and the first PM ever to receive a criminal fine for breaching lockdown rules. His handling of the covid pandemic was shocking, woofully inadequate and led to the UK having the highest death rate in Europe. With regards to Brexit, he may have got us out of the EU but Brexit is far from done. Exports to the EU have significantly dropped as a result of red tape and the UK is predicted to have the slowest growth in Europe over the next few years. His so called ‘oven ready deal’ has led to the UK government having to introduce new legislation to override the NI protocol which has been described as illegal and highly likely to lead to a trade war with the EU at a time when we are already experiencing a cost of living crisis. Under Johnson, he is also responsible for introducing the absurd Rwanda policy which will do little to prevent illegal immigrants from coming to the Uk but is likely to cost more as a result of legal challenges. His lack of good morals in his personal life are sadly a broader reflection of who he is and what he stands for but he clearly has no integrity or he would have resigned by now over the party gate scandal. Yes, there are worst people out there than Johnson but that’s no justification for him remaining as PM. The UK deserves much better than having a clown in office who hasn’t a clue and is completely out of touch with the general public.
  17. Physical and digital download editions are being released in August.
  18. I’m sure I read somewhere recently that it was certified silver meaning sales of over 200k. It should have sold a lot more but it was released at a time when sales were low.

Excellent results in both by-elections. Tories will certainly lose their working majority at next GE particularly if Johnson stays which I hope he does despite the fact I despise him.
  20. I’m really not a big fan of Beyoncé. If I were a boy is a great song and the other singles from that era. I also like some of the songs on 4 but apart from that I don’t care much for her other output.
  21. Light years is definitely the better album out of the two.
  22. The by election outcomes will be interesting. Really hope the Tories will lose both seats. If labour can’t win one of the seats in the face of such adverse times right now then how are they going to be able to win a general election?
  23. This is one of the things I don’t like about streaming. Old songs being able to return to no1 after years of absence. It would never have happened in the 80s or 90s and just seems out of sync.
